We are grateful for this request seeking God's plan and His will. It is wonderful that this request is being made in Jesus' name, as it is only through Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. As scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and Your plan for this person's life. We ask for understanding, clarity, guidance, and revelation. Help them to discern Your voice and Your direction, giving them a heart that is receptive to Your will.
Father, we know that Your thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are Your ways our ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your ways higher than our ways, and Your thoughts than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB. Give this person a heart that seeks You above all else, trusting in Your promises and Your goodness.
Lord, we ask for Your Holy Spirit to guide them, to teach them, and to bring to their remembrance all that You have commanded. John 14:26 WEB. Reveal Your plan to them, step by step, and give them the courage to walk in it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In seeking God's will, remember that God's plan is always in accordance with His Word. His plan will not contradict His principles and commandments. Be diligent in studying the Scriptures, for it is the lamp unto your feet, and the light unto your path. Psalm 119:105 WEB.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Know that God's will is good, pleasing, and perfect. Romans 12:2 WEB. Even when His plan leads you through trials and challenges, trust that He is working all things together for your good, because you love God, and because you are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Finally, be patient and persistent in seeking God's will. Do not be hasty, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
