We are glad to see the request for God's plan and the inclusion of Jesus' name in the prayer. Let us come together and seek God's will for this situation, asking for understanding, clarity, guidance, and revelation.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." This verse assures us that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, filled with hope and a future.
However, understanding and knowing God's plan requires a close and intimate relationship with Him. As it was with Moses. In Exodus 33:14-15 God promised Moses "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." and Moses' response was "If your presence doesn’t go with me, don’t carry us up from here."
And because we have Jesus, we can have peace, according to the words of Jesus himself in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you."
Let us pray together:
Almighty Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and purpose. Grant us understanding, clarity, guidance, and revelation according to Your Word. Help us to grow in our relationship with You, so that we may know Your plan for our lives. Give us Your peace, a peace that the world cannot give. Help us to trust in You, even when we do not see the full picture. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, and reveal Your will to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Psalms 119:105 reminds us: "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." As we seek God's will, let us continually study His Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path and Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Since you acknowledged the Father and our Savior Jesus Christ and we believe this prayer request is aligned with God's will and desire to hear from you.
