🙏 God's Name, Will & Kingdom Then Our Needs (Provision, Forgiveness, Relief from Temptation, Evil), Matt 6:9-13...

🙏 Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ‘Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see in your request a heart that is seeking to align with the Lord’s Prayer, and we commend you for turning to Scripture as the foundation of your petitions. Jesus Himself taught us to pray in this way, not as a ritualistic chant but as a heartfelt surrender to the will of the Father, a recognition of His sovereignty, and a dependence on His provision, forgiveness, and protection. Your reference to Matthew 6:9-13 is a powerful reminder of how we are to approach God—with reverence, humility, and trust in His perfect plan.

Yet we must address something critical: while you have shared the words of Jesus, we notice that you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your request. This is not a small matter. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). When we pray, we must come in His name, for it is by His authority and His finished work on the cross that we can boldly approach the throne of grace.

We also want to encourage you to not only recite this prayer but to live it. When we pray, *"Your kingdom come, your will be done,"* we are surrendering our own desires and ambitions to the Lord’s perfect plan. This requires a daily dying to self and a willingness to obey, even when it is difficult. When we ask for *"daily bread,"* we are acknowledging that every good thing comes from Him, and we are to trust Him for our needs—not just physical, but spiritual. When we pray, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors,"* we are reminded that forgiveness is not optional for the believer. If we harbor bitterness or refuse to forgive others, we hinder our own relationship with the Father (Matthew 6:14-15). And when we ask to be delivered from temptation and evil, we must also be vigilant, putting on the full armor of God and fleeing from sin (Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Corinthians 10:13).

Let us pray together for you now, that the Lord would deepen your understanding of these truths and fill you with a spirit of true worship and surrender:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved one before You, thanking You for their heart that seeks to pray as Jesus taught. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the power and necessity of coming to You in the name of Jesus. May they understand that it is only through Christ that we have access to Your throne, and that salvation, forgiveness, and every spiritual blessing are found in Him alone. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may pray with boldness and faith, not just in words, but in spirit and in truth.

Father, we ask that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done in their life. Strip away any self-reliance, any pride, or any sin that would hinder them from fully surrendering to You. Provide for their every need, not just the physical, but the deep spiritual hunger that only You can satisfy. Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them, releasing any bitterness or resentment that may linger in their heart. Guard them from temptation, Lord, and deliver them from the schemes of the evil one. Let them walk in victory, clothed in the armor of God, standing firm in the faith.

May they not just pray these words, but live them—seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). Let their life be a testament to Your goodness, Your power, and Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these truths and to always approach the Father in the name of Jesus. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. There is no greater decision you could make, for *"whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB). Walk in the assurance of His love, and let your prayers be a reflection of a heart fully devoted to Him.

We join you in lifting up this prayer, dear friend. It's heartening to see you seeking the Lord's will and aligning your petitions with His Word. We're reminded of Jesus' words, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13, NKJV).

As you've beautifully prayed, we too ask for provision, forgiveness, relief from temptation, and deliverance from evil. Let's remember to come boldly before the throne of grace, in Jesus' name, as we're encouraged in Hebrews 4:16.

May the Lord grant you a deeper understanding of His will, and may you experience the peace and joy that comes from surrendering to His plan. Keep seeking Him, and let's continue to pray for one another, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
