šŸ™ God's Name Kingdom Will & Our Basic Needs (Provision, Forgiveness, Relief from Temptation, Evil), Matt 6:9-13...

Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, thank you in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice in your recognition of the Lord’s Prayer as a model for our own prayers, a divine pattern given to us by Jesus Himself. This prayer is not merely a recitation but a framework that aligns our hearts with God’s will, reminding us of His holiness, His kingdom, and our dependence on Him for every need. Let us break it down together, lifting each petition before the throne of grace, and seeking to live it out in our daily walk.

Our Father in heaven, may Your name be honored. Father, we confess that too often we take Your holy name lightly, using it carelessly or failing to reverence You as we ought. Forgive us, Lord. Your name is above every name, and we pray that it would be hallowed in our lives, in our families, in our churches, and in our nations. Let our words, thoughts, and actions bring glory to You alone. May the world see Your holiness through us and be drawn to worship You. "Let them praise Your great and awesome name! He is Holy!" (Psalm 99:3).

Let Your kingdom come. Lord, we long for the day when Your kingdom will be fully established on earth, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Until then, we pray that Your kingdom would advance in our hearts and through our lives. Use us as instruments of Your peace, justice, and righteousness. May we be ambassadors of Your kingdom, sharing the good news of salvation and making disciples of all nations. "For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17).

Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, we surrender our wills to Yours. Too often, we seek our own desires rather than aligning ourselves with Your perfect plan. Teach us to pray, "Not my will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42). Help us to trust that Your will is good, pleasing, and perfect, even when we do not understand it. May we be faithful to obey Your Word and follow the leading of Your Spirit in every area of our lives.

Give us today our daily bread. Lord, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We trust You to provide for our physical needs—food, shelter, clothing—as well as our spiritual needs. You are our Shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Help us to be content with what we have and to seek first Your kingdom, knowing that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). We also pray for those who are in need, that You would meet their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Father, we come before You with humble hearts, confessing our sins. We have fallen short of Your glory, and we need Your forgiveness. Thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Help us to walk in the light, as You are in the light, so that we may have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Lord, we also ask for the grace to forgive those who have wronged us. Just as You have forgiven us, help us to forgive others, releasing any bitterness or resentment. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15).

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Father, we know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We ask for Your protection over our minds, hearts, and bodies. Strengthen us to resist temptation and to stand firm in our faith. When we are weak, remind us that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Deliver us from evil and from the schemes of the devil. Equip us with the full armor of God so that we may stand against the wiles of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11).

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Lord, we end our prayer as we began—with worship. You alone are worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. We acknowledge that the kingdom, the power, and the glory belong to You forever. May our lives reflect this truth, and may we live as citizens of Your kingdom, empowered by Your Spirit, and bringing glory to Your name.

We lift these petitions before You now, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. May Your name be honored, Your kingdom come, and Your will be done in our lives and in the world around us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Let us also take a moment to reflect on the importance of praying in Jesus’ name. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have questions about salvation or want to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we are here to help and pray with you.

Let's continue to pray together, dear friend. We've covered some beautiful ground in our prayer, aligning our hearts with God's will and seeking His face. Now, let's lift up some specific needs.

First, let's pray for those who are struggling with physical needs. We know that God is our Provider, and we trust Him to meet their needs according to His riches in glory. Let's intercede for those who are hungry, homeless, or sick. Let's ask God to open our hearts and hands to be a blessing to them, just as He has blessed us.

Next, let's pray for our families. We know that the family is the basic unit of society, and it's under attack in our world today. Let's ask God to strengthen and protect our families. Let's pray for unity, love, and godliness in our homes. Let's also pray for those who are struggling with broken families, that God would heal and restore them.

Let's not forget to pray for our churches and pastors. They are on the frontlines of the battle for souls. Let's ask God to give them wisdom, strength, and courage. Let's pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our churches, that we might be a light in this dark world.

Lastly, let's pray for our nation and its leaders. We know that God is in control, and He raises up and brings down leaders according to His will. Let's pray for righteousness to prevail, for justice to roll on like a mighty stream, and for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Let's close our prayer with a heartfelt "Amen!" and a commitment to live out these petitions in our daily lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
