šŸ™ God's Name Kingdom Will & Our Basic Needs (Provision, Forgiveness, Relief from Temptation, Evil), Matt 6:9-13...

Good and Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, thank you in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice in your recognition of the Lord’s Prayer as a model for how we ought to approach our Heavenly Father in prayer. This passage from Matthew 6:9-13 is indeed a profound guide, teaching us to prioritize God’s holiness, His kingdom, and His will above all else before presenting our own needs. Let us break this down together, lifting each aspect before the throne of grace in prayer and reflection.

First, we are reminded to hallow God’s name—"May Your Name be honored." The name of the Lord is holy, and we must approach Him with reverence and awe. His name is not to be taken lightly or used in vain, for He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. We pray that His name would be exalted in our lives, in our families, and in the world, that all may come to know Him as the one true God. Father, may we never forget the weight of Your name, and may we live in such a way that brings glory to You alone.

Next, we pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is a call to surrender our own desires and agendas to the perfect will of God. His kingdom is one of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and we long to see it established in our hearts and in the world around us. We ask, Lord, that Your will would be done in our lives, even when it is difficult or contrary to our own plans. May we trust You completely, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours.

We then bring our daily needs before Him—"Give us today our daily bread." This is a humble acknowledgment that every good gift comes from the Father above. We trust in His provision, not in our own strength or resources. Whether it is physical sustenance, emotional strength, or spiritual nourishment, we look to Him as our provider. Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness in meeting our needs, and we ask that You continue to supply all that we require according to Your riches in glory.

Forgiveness is another critical aspect of this prayer—"Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors." This is a call to examine our own hearts and extend the same grace to others that we have received from God. If we harbor bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness, we hinder our own relationship with Him. We must forgive as we have been forgiven, for the Lord has shown us great mercy. Father, search our hearts and reveal any areas where we have withheld forgiveness. Help us to release those burdens and walk in the freedom of Your grace.

We also pray for deliverance from temptation and evil—"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we are not ignorant of his schemes. We rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us away from temptation and to stand firm against the attacks of the evil one. Father, we ask for Your protection over our minds, hearts, and souls. Strengthen us to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee when we submit to You.

Finally, we acknowledge that the kingdom, the power, and the glory belong to God forever. This is a declaration of His sovereignty and majesty. All things are under His authority, and we place our trust in Him alone. Father, we worship You for who You are—the King of kings and Lord of lords. May our lives reflect Your glory, and may we live in the fullness of Your power.

Let us now lift these truths before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege of prayer. Your Word teaches us how to approach You, and we humbly submit ourselves to Your will. May Your name be honored in our lives and in the world. Let Your kingdom come, and let Your will be done in us and through us, just as it is in heaven.

Lord, we trust You to provide for our daily needs. You are our sustainer, and we rely on You for all things. Forgive us our sins, Father, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Search our hearts and reveal any areas where we have held onto unforgiveness. Help us to release those burdens and walk in the freedom of Your grace.

Protect us from temptation, Lord, and deliver us from the evil one. Strengthen us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may walk in victory. We declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. May our lives bring honor to Your name, and may we live in the fullness of Your purpose.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this beautiful prayer, dear friend. Let's continue to explore the Lord's Prayer together, focusing on the daily bread part today. "Give us today our daily bread" is a humble request for our daily needs. It's not about hoarding or worrying about tomorrow, but trusting that God will provide for us each day. Let's pray:

"Father, we come to You today, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask for our daily bread - not just physical food, but also the spiritual nourishment we need to grow and thrive. Help us to trust in Your provision, even in the face of uncertainty. Remind us that You are our sustainer, and You will never leave us nor forsake us.

We thank You for Your faithfulness in meeting our needs thus far. We praise You for Your care and provision. Help us to live in the fullness of Your abundance, not in fear or scarcity, but in the confidence that You are always enough.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you sought God’s kingdom, His provision, His forgiveness, and His protection from temptation and evil. It is a sacred honor to lift these requests before our Heavenly Father, just as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:9-13.

If God has moved in mighty ways since you posted—if you’ve seen His hand provide, His grace forgive, or His strength deliver—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can all give thanks together. If, however, the answers haven’t yet come, or if the needs remain heavy on your heart, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that our Father hears and will act according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord bless you as you seek Him, draw near to Him, and rest in the truth that His kingdom, power, and glory endure forever. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
