We have read your words and we are moved by the hope you have received that your wounds will heal and be replaced with a happiness you have never known. We receive this with tenderness and we want to seek the Lord together with you for His perfect will and for discernment.

We believe God does speak to His children and His heart is to heal and restore. His word says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He also promises to give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness Isaiah 61:3 and in His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forever more Psalm 16:11. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning Psalm 30:5. For those who have served Him faithfully and feel wounded or weary, He calls us to endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ 2 Timothy 2:3 and He reminds us that His grace is sufficient for us, for power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. It is not our own strength that makes us His soldiers but His strength working in us.

We also gently encourage you to test what you hear against the written Word of God, for the Spirit of God will never contradict Scripture. Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. The primary way God confirms His message to us is through His Word and through the peace and leading of His Holy Spirit. If He is calling you again as His soldier, we rejoice with you and we pray you will walk in renewed obedience and closeness to Him, for we know that to those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We noticed your message speaks of God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our wounds are truly healed. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You see every wound, every tear, and every season of faithfulness as Your soldier. We ask You to bring Your healing to heart and body and soul according to Your mercy. Restore what the locusts have eaten and fulfill Your promise to give joy that the world cannot give and cannot take away Joel 2:25. If this word is from You, confirm it in Your Word and make Your will unmistakably clear, and give strength to stand again and serve You with courage and humility. Draw this dear one into deeper fellowship with Jesus, cover them with Your grace, and let the happiness You give be rooted in knowing Christ and walking in Your purposes. We ask that Your perfect peace guard their heart and mind and that they would know they are fully forgiven, fully loved, and fully restored in Christ. We pray all this in the name of Jesus our Savior and hope, amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer, to dwell daily in Scripture, and to fellowship with faithful believers who can walk with you as you seek to serve Him again. We are trusting with you that God who began a good work in you will complete it and that the joy He has for you will be greater than the pain you have known.

Words like that can stay with you, especially when you have carried hurt for a long time, and we hear how much you want to know His heart for you right now.

We want to encourage you to keep bringing this word back to Him quietly in the days ahead. God is faithful to heal and to restore, and that work often unfolds gradually as we walk with Him and with others who know us. Holding what you heard before Him and asking Him to confirm it and to show you the next faithful step can bring a lot of peace and clarity.

One simple step that may help is to write down exactly what you felt you heard, and then share it with a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows your story. Pray through it together over the next week or two and ask the Lord to make clear what He wants you to do next, even if it is a small step.

Jesus, we lift up our friend to You with thanks that You know and love them completely. We ask You to draw near, to bring Your healing in the way and time You know is best, and to lead with gentle wisdom and hope. We place this life and future in Your hands. In Jesus name, amen.

The Lord delights to heal the broken in heart and to bind up their wounds, and His sure Word is the message you may trust above all impressions of the heart. If you have known what it is to serve Him with strength and now find yourself wounded and wearied in the length of your way, you are not beyond hope. While Jehovah lives the mourner need not despair, for there is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Saviour of such as you.

Remember Peter, who was once so forward and yet fell so grievously, and was restored by a look from the Lord. The Lord can use the smallest means to call a wandering soldier back, and to sever him from the crowd and bring him again to repentance. If you are prepared to come back to Him just as you came at first, bringing nothing in your hands but simply clinging to His cross, He is ready to forgive and to restore.

Your wounds shall indeed be healed, not by any virtue in yourself, but by Him whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue. He washes every wound with sacred water from His own side and binds it with the fair white linen of His righteousness, and changes the life blood till the soul is made whole.

And the happiness you seek is found in Him alone. It is the joy of faith, the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God, not a fleeting mirth but a living joy that abides when all earthly props fail. He that has joy in Christ has the quintessence of happiness, and to be with Christ is the joy of hope which makes not ashamed. Keep at the foot of the cross and you will not only maintain that joy but increase it, and God will do better unto you than at your beginnings.

Pray with David, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and the Father who gave joy to the returned prodigal will give it to you. May the Lord turn a possible hope into an actual hope in you through believing in Jesus Christ, and fill you with joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope and praise Him with all that you are and all that you hope to be.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your longing to hear from God in the midst of wounds is understandable, and God has not left us without His voice. He has spoken most clearly through His Son and through the Scriptures, where faith comes by hearing the word of God. Any sense that you have received a private message should be tested by that word, for it alone is the sure and unchanging promise.

Scripture does speak of healing, but not as a sudden guarantee of earthly happiness apart from Christ. God is like a physician who daily goes about His camp dressing wounds and healing sores, and He does this through repentance, through hearing His teaching, through life in His Church, and through patient trust in Christ alone for salvation. His promises are true, yet as with Abraham, they are often fulfilled after patient endurance, to strengthen faith and to show His power, not always immediately or in the way we expect.

If you have known service to God in the past and now feel fallen or wounded, do not despair, but also do not rest on a feeling or an inner voice. Bring your wounds honestly to the Lord Jesus, confess sin where there is sin, ask for mercy, and remain under His word. The happiness you have never known is not found in circumstances but in being reconciled to God through Christ, walking with Him day by day, and growing in mercy, patience, and holiness.

We will pray that the Lord would heal what is broken in you according to His wisdom, that He would form Christ more fully in you, and that He would give you a lasting joy that comes from knowing Him and being kept by Him to the end. Continue to hear His voice in Scripture, stay close to His people, and look to Jesus Christ alone as your hope.
