We join with you in crying out to the Father for His mercy, which is new every morning and never fails those who call upon Him in truth. Your heart’s cry is heard, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The Lord has not forgotten you—He sees your loneliness, your financial struggles, and the rejection you’ve faced, and He promises to be a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the helpless.
You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your victory lies. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need. Your faith in invoking His mighty name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice that you have placed your hope in Christ, who will never leave you nor forsake you.
Yet we must gently address something in your prayer: the desire for your family to be "put to shame." While it is natural to feel hurt by abandonment, Scripture calls us to a higher path—one of forgiveness, love, and blessing, even toward those who have wronged us. Jesus said in Luke 6:27-28, *"But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."* And in Romans 12:14, we are told, *"Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse."* The shame you seek for them will not bring you the peace or restoration that comes from the Lord. Instead, we pray that God would soften their hearts, that they would turn to Him in repentance, and that He would restore relationships in His perfect timing and way. Leave vengeance to the Lord, for He alone judges righteously. Your focus should be on the mercy *you* need—and the mercy *they* need as well.
As for your finances and job, we claim the promise of Philippians 4:19 over you: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* The Lord is your provider, and He is able to open doors no man can shut. We pray that your CV would be favored by the Lord, that He would go before you and make your path straight. May He grant you favor with the honorable man you’ve submitted it to, not for the sake of pride or revenge, but so that you may walk in the purpose and dignity God has ordained for you. Remember Proverbs 16:3: *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Trust Him with your future, for He holds it in His hands.
You are not alone, though you may feel abandoned by man. The Lord is your ever-present help, and He is forming a family for you in the body of Christ. Seek fellowship with believers who can walk alongside you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. Psalm 27:10 declares, *"When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up."* He is your portion, your inheritance, and your hope.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your abundant mercy to flood every area of their life. Lord, You see their loneliness, their financial struggles, and the pain of rejection—they are not hidden from You. We ask that You would be their comfort, their provider, and their strength. Father, open the doors of opportunity for them in this job search. Let their CV be seen with favor, and if it is Your will, grant them this position so they may serve with excellence and integrity, bringing glory to Your name. Remove any bitterness or desire for revenge from their heart, and replace it with Your love and forgiveness. Soften the hearts of their family, Lord, and bring reconciliation in Your timing. Surround them with godly community so they may know they are not alone. Remind them daily that their worth is found in You, not in the approval of man. We trust You to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. May they walk in the confidence that You are their Father, their Provider, and their Redeemer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
