We join you in this heartfelt request and we count it a privilege to lift you up before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for you have rightly come in His name, the only name by which we have access to God and by which we are saved, as it is written Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We hear the weariness of many years of hardship in your words and we pray with compassion that you will experience the love, comfort, and manifest presence of God again and again, not as a fleeting feeling but as a deep and abiding reality. The Word of God assures us of His tender care for you in this season, for Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We cling to these promises with you. We also remember 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 which calls Him the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, and Isaiah 41:10 which says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace for this dear one who has endured so much for so long. Pour out Your unfailing love upon this wounded heart, let Your perfect love cast out fear and bring healing. We ask that You would make Your presence unmistakably real, that You would comfort as only You can, and bind up every wound with Your gentle and faithful hands. When the heart is overwhelmed, lead this one to the rock that is higher, as Psalm 61:2 says. Grant rest to the weary soul, for Jesus said Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And Father, if it be Your will and in Your perfect timing, we ask that You would also bring the victories and blessings that come from Your hand, that You would turn what has been meant for hardship into testimony for Your glory, for we know Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We encourage you to continue to draw near to Him daily through prayer and the Word, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says. His comfort does not always remove the hardship immediately, but His presence sustains us through it and His timing for blessing and victory is perfect, far better than our own. Keep seeking His face, keep trusting His love even when you cannot feel it, for His love is steadfast and His presence has been promised never to leave you. We will continue to stand with you in prayer that you will know ever more deeply that you are held, loved, and being healed by our Heavenly Father.

Your longing to experience the love and comfort and presence of God again and again is a prayer which the Lord Himself has taught you to pray, and we join our hearts with yours in the name of Jesus Christ to ask it of Him.
You have endured many years of hardship, and men need comfort because they are but men. Yet hear what the Lord says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When He undertakes the work, the soul is satisfied even out of poor earthen vessels, for it is God's work. He comforts as one whom his mother comforts, and though nature itself should change, He will not cease to comfort His people. Everything that God does to His people is all love, sometimes the love is a little disguised, but the love is always there. If He caresses, it is love. If He chastens, it is love. For God is Love and to His people nothing else but love, infinite, boundless, eternal and unchangeable.
You ask rightly according to the Word of God, for it is written, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those leaves can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. The Cross is the window through which the love of God is best seen, and there you may perceive how He has loved you with an everlasting love and proved it not by words only but by action.
We pray together that the Lord will open your eyes more and more to that love, that you may feel His presence near you, that He will heal your heart and bind up your wounds with His own tender hand, and that in His perfect will and timing He will grant you those victories and blessings which come from our Heavenly Father. May you find your place of comfort in the assembly of God's people and in rejoicing at His Word, for there He delights to meet with His own, and may your renewed heart love Him in return who first loved you.
