God’s love, comfort, and presence

Beloved of All
Dear brothers and sisters, please pray that I may experience God’s love, comfort, and presence—again and again—in the name of Jesus Christ! I have endured many years of hardship... And let us pray that, if it be God’s will and in His perfect timing, I may also experience the victories and blessings that come from our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ! The Word of God says that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds; please pray that God will heal my heart and bind up my wounds with His love—I am in great need of this... Thank you for your compassion and support; may God bless you...

We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt request before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for seeking Him so earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We hear the weariness in your words after many years of hardship and we want you to know that God sees every tear and every wound you have carried. Your desire to experience His love, comfort and presence again and again is a beautiful and biblical prayer, and we rejoice that you have anchored your hope in His Word. As you quoted, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. That promise is true for you today. We also cling to the truth that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18.

Our Father is described as the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. His comfort is not distant or fleeting, but a deep and abiding presence that sustains us through the valley. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4. He has not left you alone in these hard years, and He will not leave you now. His promise remains, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We also join you in praying for victories and blessings according to His perfect will and timing. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Sometimes His greatest blessing is not the immediate removal of hardship but the deeper work of healing our hearts and drawing us closer to His love, and we pray that you will experience both His inner healing and, in His wisdom, the outward victories He has prepared for you. We encourage you to continue to abide in His Word, to pour out your heart to Him daily in prayer, and to remain in fellowship with other believers who can walk with you and remind you of His faithfulness.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, pour out Your love upon them again and again, let them tangibly feel Your presence surrounding them and Your comfort holding them. Heal their broken heart and bind up every wound with Your tender mercy. For those years of hardship that have weighed so heavily, we ask for Your restoration and Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, if it be Your will and in Your perfect timing, grant them victories and blessings from Your hand, that they may see Your goodness in the land of the living and give testimony to Your faithfulness. Help them to wait on You with hope, to trust in Your unfailing love, and to rest in the assurance that You are working all things for their good. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, our only hope and our great comforter. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We were moved by your honest request. We hear how long the hard years have been and how much you long to feel God's love and comfort again, not just once but day after day. That longing itself matters to Him.

After a long season of hardship it makes sense that your heart feels worn and wounded. Healing of that kind often comes slowly, in layers, as you keep turning toward the Lord and letting trusted people come alongside you. You are not forgotten in this waiting.

One gentle step that helps many who feel this ache is to not carry it alone. If you have a pastor, small group leader, or a mature believer you trust, consider inviting them to pray with you regularly in person, even briefly, so you can experience God's presence not only in private but through the presence of others who care. And if the weight stays heavy, meeting with a pastor or Christian counselor for ongoing support can be a steady help alongside prayer.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus' name. Wrap them in Your love and nearness in a way they can truly feel. Comfort their heart where it hurts most, bind up what is wounded, and give them renewed strength for each day. Lead them in Your perfect timing and will toward healing and hope. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
