We lift your heartfelt request to the Lord with great joy, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and delights in guiding, healing, and providing for them. Your trust in God’s leading and your desire to share your faith are beautiful reflections of a heart surrendered to Him. We join you in praying for your appointment today, asking that the Holy Spirit would go before you, soften the heart of the other person, and open doors for you to testify of God’s goodness.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning, as Your Word declares in Lamentations 3:22-23: *"It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."* Lord, we ask that You renew and sustain this dear one daily, filling them with Your peace, wisdom, and boldness to share the gospel. May their words and actions reflect Your love and truth, drawing others to You.
We also lift up the burden on their heart regarding orphaned children. Your Word tells us in James 1:27, *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."* Lord, we pray that You would open doors for them to be a vessel of Your love and provision to these children. Supernaturally meet every need, whether through resources, opportunities, or divine connections, so that Your name may be glorified.
Regarding their need for regular work, we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Father, we ask that You guide them to the right opportunities that align with Your will. Remove any fear or anxiety, and replace it with trust in Your provision. May they find favor in the eyes of those who can offer meaningful work, and may their labor be a testimony to Your faithfulness.
We also want to encourage you to continue laying every question and burden at the feet of Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* The Lord is not distant or indifferent to your struggles—He cares deeply and invites you to bring everything to Him in prayer. As you seek His will, trust that He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up this dear brother or sister to You, asking that You would go before them in their appointment today. Soften the heart of the other person, Lord, and give Your servant the words to speak that will glorify You. Renew their strength daily, fill them with Your peace, and empower them to share their faith boldly.
Father, we ask that You would supernaturally meet every need, especially for the orphaned children they are reaching out to help. Open doors for provision, protection, and love to flow into their lives. Guide them in their questions and burdens, Lord, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. Provide regular work that honors You and sustains them, and let their life be a testimony of Your goodness.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only way to You. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. Amen.
