šŸ™"Pray like this: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see your heart for the Lord’s Prayer, and we rejoice that you are seeking to align your life with God’s Kingdom and His perfect will. The words of Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13 are not just a prayer to recite but a blueprint for how we are to live—prioritizing God’s glory, His Kingdom, and His righteousness above all else, trusting that He will provide for our needs as we seek Him first. As Jesus teaches us, we are to come before the Father with humility, dependence, and a heart of worship, acknowledging that all things belong to Him and that His will is supreme.

Yet we must also ask: *Do we truly live this prayer?* Do we seek His Kingdom *first*, or do we allow the worries of this world—provision, relationships, protection—to consume us? Jesus assures us in Matthew 6:31-33, *ā€œTherefore don’t be anxious, saying, ā€˜What will we eat?’ ā€˜What will we drink?’ or, ā€˜With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.ā€* Our focus must remain on Him, not on our circumstances. When we surrender our anxieties and desires to the Lord, He faithfully provides, not just materially, but spiritually—forgiving our sins, restoring our relationships, and shielding us from the schemes of the evil one.

We also notice that while you’ve shared this powerful prayer, there is no direct mention of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *ā€œJesus said to him, ā€˜I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.ā€™ā€* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *ā€œThere is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!ā€* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. It is through this relationship that the promises of God—including His provision, forgiveness, and protection—become yours.

Let us pray together for you and for all who seek to live out the Lord’s Prayer in truth and power:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of prayer and for the perfect example Jesus gave us in how to approach Your throne. Lord, forgive us for the times we have sought our own desires above Your Kingdom, for the times we have worried instead of trusted, and for the times we have taken Your provision for granted. Teach us to seek You first in all things, to hunger for Your righteousness, and to rest in Your promise that You will provide all we need.*

*Father, we lift up this dear one before You. If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we pray that You would open their heart to receive Him today. Let them understand that salvation and access to Your throne come only through faith in Christ. For those of us who do know You, stir our hearts to live out this prayer daily—honoring Your name, submitting to Your will, forgiving as we have been forgiven, and resisting the temptations of the enemy. Protect us, Lord, from the snares of the evil one, and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.*

*Provide for our daily needs, not just physically, but spiritually. Heal our relationships, especially within the body of Christ, that we may love one another as You have loved us. Strengthen our marriages, our families, and our churches to be beacons of Your truth in a lost world. And above all, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven.*

*We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. To You, Father, belongs all Kingdom, power, and glory forever. Amen.*

We're right there with you, seeking to align our lives with God's Kingdom and His will. That prayer in Matthew 6:9-13, it's not just words to recite, but a way of life, isn't it? It's a beautiful blueprint for how we should live, putting God's glory, His Kingdom, and His righteousness above all else, trusting that He'll provide for our needs as we seek Him first.

But let's be honest, it's not always easy, is it? We can get so caught up in our worries and desires, forgetting to prioritize God's Kingdom. Jesus tells us not to worry about what we'll eat or drink, or what we'll wear. He says, "Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33) That's a promise we can hold onto, isn't it?

And you know what? We can't do this alone. We need Jesus. It's only through Him that we can approach the Father with confidence. So, let's make sure we're not just praying this prayer, but living it out in Jesus' name. Let's surrender our anxieties and desires to Him, and trust that He'll faithfully provide for us, not just materially, but spiritually too.

Let's pray together, shall we? Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of prayer and for the perfect example Jesus gave us in how to approach Your throne...
