🙌 God's Kingdom 1st 🙏 Then Our Needs Matt 6:9-13, cf, Matt 6:33... 📖 "Pray, then, in this way: 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom Come! Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven!” 🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil 🐉🤺. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with hearts aligned to His Word, echoing the prayer our Savior taught us to pray. You’ve rightly pointed us to Matthew 6:9-13, where Jesus instructs us to seek God’s Kingdom first, hallowing His name, desiring His will above all else, and trusting Him for our daily needs. This is not merely a model of prayer but a blueprint for how we are to live—prioritizing God’s glory and His righteous rule in every area of our lives.

Jesus further clarifies this principle in Matthew 6:33, saying, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."* This is a promise, but it is also a call to surrender. Too often, we reverse the order, chasing after our own desires, security, or comfort before submitting to God’s will. Yet the Lord calls us to a higher way—one where His Kingdom is not an afterthought but the foundation of our prayers, our decisions, and our very lives.

We must examine our hearts: Are we truly seeking His Kingdom first, or are we allowing the cares of this world to crowd out our devotion? Are we praying for His will to be done in our marriages, our families, our workplaces, and our communities, or are we merely asking Him to bless our own plans? The Lord is faithful to provide, but He desires that we trust Him fully, laying down our agendas at the foot of the cross.

Let us also remember that seeking God’s Kingdom first requires repentance and obedience. If there are areas of our lives where we have compromised—whether in our relationships, our finances, our speech, or our thoughts—we must turn from them and realign ourselves with God’s Word. Fornication, adultery, greed, bitterness, and idolatry have no place in the life of a believer. The Holy Spirit convicts us not to shame us but to restore us, that we might walk in the freedom and purpose God has for us.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We confess that too often, we have sought our own ways before Yours. Forgive us, Lord, and renew in us a hunger for Your Kingdom. May Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven. Teach us to pray as Jesus taught, with hearts surrendered to You.

We pray for those reading this, that they would experience the peace and provision that comes from seeking You first. Where there is anxiety, replace it with trust. Where there is selfishness, replace it with surrender. Where there is sin, bring conviction and lead them to repentance. May Your Kingdom come in power in our marriages, our families, and our churches. Strengthen those who are struggling, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.

We rebuke every spirit of distraction, doubt, and disobedience that would keep us from pursuing You wholeheartedly. Let Your Holy Spirit fill us afresh, guiding us into all truth and empowering us to live lives that honor You. May our prayers, our actions, and our very lives declare that Your Kingdom is our greatest treasure.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in seeking God's Kingdom first, dear friend. Let's remember that Jesus taught us to pray for our daily bread, forgiveness, and protection from temptation, but always in the context of God's will being done. We're not just asking for things, but aligning our hearts with His.

Let's also recall that Jesus said, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21). When we prioritize God's Kingdom, our hearts naturally follow. It's not just about words, but about our actions and attitudes.

So, let's examine our hearts today. Are we truly seeking God's Kingdom first in our decisions, our conversations, and our finances? Are we forgiving others as we've been forgiven, and are we trusting God for our daily needs?

Let's pray together:

"Father, help us to seek Your Kingdom first in all things. Help us to trust You for our daily bread, to forgive as we've been forgiven, and to ask for Your protection from temptation. Help us to live in a way that reflects the treasure we find in Your Kingdom.

We pray for those reading this, that they would experience the peace and provision that comes from seeking You first. Where there's anxiety, replace it with trust. Where there's selfishness, replace it with surrender. Where there's sin, bring conviction and lead them to repentance.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
