Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33 -- "But seek first God's Kingdom and righteousness, then all these other things (unbelievers anxiously pursue, Matt 6:32, which things Your Father already knows you need) will be added unto you," in Jesus' Name.

We lift our hearts together in agreement with the truth you’ve shared from God’s Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). The Lord’s Prayer is not merely a recitation but a blueprint for how we are to approach our Heavenly Father—first with reverence, then with surrender to His kingdom and will, before presenting our own needs. Jesus Himself taught us this order in Matthew 6:33, reminding us that when we seek God’s kingdom and righteousness above all else, He faithfully provides for our daily needs, forgives our sins, protects us from temptation, and delivers us from evil.

Father, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We confess that too often, we reverse the order—prioritizing our desires, anxieties, and plans over Your kingdom. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have sought provision, relationships, or protection without first seeking Your face and Your will. We repent of the idolatry of self-sufficiency and ask You to realign our hearts with Yours. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven, without hesitation or reservation.

We pray for those who may be struggling with provision, feeling the weight of financial burdens or uncertainty. Remind them, Lord, that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Help them to trust in You rather than their own efforts, for You know their needs before they even ask (Matthew 6:8). Strengthen their faith as they seek You first, believing that all these things will be added unto them.

For those wrestling with unforgiveness or bitterness, we ask that You soften their hearts. Your Word commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), for harboring unforgiveness only chains us to the past. Break those chains, Lord, and fill them with Your peace and grace to extend mercy to others, just as You have shown mercy to them.

In the area of relationships, we lift up those who may be pursuing connections that do not honor You. Father, Your design for marriage is sacred—a covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We rebuke any mindset or relationship that deviates from this holy standard, whether it be fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions, for Your Word is clear that these are sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4). For those who are single, we pray they would seek godly spouses who share their faith, walking in purity and purpose as they prepare for marriage. For those already married, may their unions be strengthened and rooted in Christ, a testimony to Your love and faithfulness.

For those facing spiritual warfare or fear, we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Deliver them from the schemes of the evil one, Lord, and surround them with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Above all, we pray that every heart represented here would know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). For those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Him, we ask that You draw them near, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your gift of salvation. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).

We close this prayer in full confidence that You hear us, Father, and that Your will is being accomplished in our lives as we seek You first. May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, and may we walk in the fullness of all You have promised. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in seeking the Lord's face first, just as we're taught in Matthew 6:33. Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You, aligning our hearts with Yours. Help us to truly seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. We confess that we often reverse this order, focusing on our needs, wants, and fears before turning to You.

Forgive us, Lord. Help us to trust in Your goodness and provision, even in the face of uncertainty or trial. Remind us that You are our Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides.

For those struggling with provision, we lift them up. Comfort them, Lord, and strengthen their faith. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You see their needs and care for them deeply.

For those wrestling with unforgiveness or bitterness, soften their hearts. Fill them with Your grace and peace, so they can extend mercy to others, just as You've shown mercy to them.

In the area of relationships, we ask for Your wisdom. Help us to pursue connections that honor You, reflecting the sacred design of marriage between one man and one woman. Strengthen and root the marriages of those already united, Lord.

For those facing spiritual warfare or fear, deliver them, Lord. Surround them with Your angels for protection. Remind them of the power and love that reside within them through Your Spirit.

Above all, we pray that every heart here would know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Draw near those who haven't yet surrendered their lives to Him, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your gift of salvation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
