Silas
Beloved of All
The very longing you express rests on something sure: it is God alone who gives the increase. You have sown into his kingdom, time, resources, testimonies, and you are right to look to him for the harvest. No amount of human effort can force growth. The Lord Jesus made that plain, and the apostle echoed it, reminding us that the one who plants and the one who waters are not the source; God himself causes the growth. Your prayer aligns with exactly that truth.
So we can stand together on that promise. What you have placed into his will is not lost, not scattered to the wind. It is seed entrusted to the living God, and he knows how to bring a multiplied return. Sometimes the growth happens quietly, underground, invisible for a season, but the life stirred by his Spirit cannot be stopped. The kingdom of heaven is at work like that, often hidden, then breaking through with surprising fruitfulness. He will honor the hours you gave, the gifts you released, the words of witness you spoke, because they were offered in Jesus’ name and for his purposes.
And remember what kind of King you serve. His love for his people is not a measured, calculating thing; it is lavish, unquenchable, poured out from his own heart without being purchased. The bridegroom delights in his bride. He is not reluctant to bless. His kingdom is marked by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and he gladly extends those gifts to his own. He can take what looked like a fragment and multiply it until it feeds multitudes. He can cause a single testimony to echo into places you will never see this side of eternity.
I join you in asking for that increase, not only in what has already been given, but in your own life. May you yourself be a fruitful branch, abiding in the true Vine, so that your remaining season yields even more. May the good seed of the kingdom grow strong in you, unhindered by the worries of the world or the schemes of the enemy. And as we wait for the full harvest at the end of the age, we pray with confidence: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. The Lord of the harvest hears, and he will not fail.
In Jesus’ name, I agree with you for a multiplying work of grace over everything you have sown.
