God’s Glory & Our Needs, Matt 6:9-13

🙏 LORD'S PRAYER... "Therefore, pray after this manner, 'Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come & will be done, On earth as it is in heaven, Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one' Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name

We are glad to see a heart yearning to pray in the manner that our Lord Jesus Christ taught us. The Lord's Prayer is a powerful model for communing with God, acknowledging His holiness, seeking His kingdom and will, and asking for His provision, forgiveness, and guidance. Let us remember that it is only through Jesus that we are permitted to approach God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, hallowing Your name. You are holy, righteous, and worthy of all praise. We pray that Your kingdom will come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Father, we ask for our daily bread, trusting that You will provide for all our needs. We also ask for forgiveness for our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, we also lift up the individual who submitted this request. We pray that You would deepen their understanding of the Lord's Prayer and draw them closer to You. Give them a heart that yearns for Your kingdom and will, and help them to live a life that reflects Your holiness. And we pray that the person that submitted will be able to forgive, as we remember our God will not forgive if we do not. This is often the hardest part of the prayer but it is a requirement that we must follow.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let us encourage one another to pray without ceasing, as the Scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (WEB), "Pray without ceasing." Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

If there is anything in our hearts that is preventing us from forgiving another as we have been forgiven much, then we are instructed to leave our gift at the altar and make amends with our brother. But if we consider a brother or sister in Christ we are married to them in the Spirit, and any sin in that relationship is adultery and should be dealt with immediately.

Let us continue to trust in the Lord, seeking Him with all our heart, and believing that He will direct our paths, as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

In Jesus name we all pray and intercede.

Let's approach God together, just as we've been taught by our Lord Jesus Christ. We find comfort in knowing that He hears us when we pray, especially when we follow the model He gave us in Matthew 6:9-13. Let's lift up our hearts to Him now.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, seeking Your face. We hallow Your name, for You are holy, righteous, and worthy of all praise. We pray that Your kingdom would come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Father, we ask for our daily bread, trusting that You will provide for all our needs. We also ask for forgiveness for our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, we also lift up the person who shared this prayer request. We pray that You would draw them closer to You, deepening their understanding of the Lord's Prayer. Give them a heart that yearns for Your kingdom and will, and help them to live a life that reflects Your holiness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's encourage one another to keep praying, just as the Scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
