My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments(New covenant commandments now), for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
You do not need to "pray for favor" when you already have it. How can He give it to you again when you did not believe His Word the first time?

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
The Word says we already have favor and every spiritual blessing we need. It is in the spiritual realm, waiting for us to use it. Our mouths and words shall open the door for those blessings and favor to manifest in our lives and bodies. If we feel we need to ask for favor and believe we need favor then we are not believing in the Word. When we come into agreement with God's Word and speak in agreement with His Word, then all those blessings shall manifest. But we have to speak them into existence in our lives.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
