Today's Encouraging Words
God's Calling You
10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 10:2)
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
All of us have areas in our life when we just don’t know our direction and what God is calling us to fulfill. But, in this life without a calling to serve some purpose our life becomes empty and it becomes filled with boredom and cynicism, just to name a few. Yet because we are made in God’s image, we cannot help but resonate with the idea of living to fulfill a cause or a calling greater than ourselves. However some of us choose to live life vicariously through other people’s sense of calling when God has a calling for each and every one of us! Long before we were born, God designed a unique role for us to play in his plan - and he has fashioned every major aspect of our life according… (i.e. Natural talents; Spiritual gifts; Personality; Place & time in history; Life experiences; Opportunities; Ministry obligations). And he is ready to reveal his calling for our life, and give us all the resources needed to fulfill his divine designation in our lives.
Believe this; God's longs to use us at our “full potential”. However to do this God needs us to be spiritual warriors and not religious nuts, God wants us to admit that there is a problem and the problem might be us, God wants us to know that when we get confused and all tied up into a knot, he wants us to be still so he can sort out the confusion and untangle the knot, God wants us to know that faith gives us the ability to stand on solid ground and not panic when going through stressful situations, God wants us to know that there’s only one road to happiness and his door is always open and God wants us to be kind to everyone, fight his battle, live a simple life, love other’s like there’s no tomorrow, continually Pray and then leave the rest to him!
So, whenever you are trying to discern God’s calling on your life and know that it’s really him calling you, be still and wait patiently, he’ll give you a confirmation.

No more excuses - God needs you to be at your full potential “Right Now”!
