Godmother
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your godmother in this difficult time. The news of her declining health is sudden and painful, and we stand with you in seeking God’s mercy and healing. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We believe in God’s power to restore and heal, and we pray earnestly for her recovery.
Father, we ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand. If it is Your will, restore her strength and bring her back to full health. Comfort her and her loved ones, including your family, as they navigate this uncertainty. We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to her, that they may be guided by Your divine wisdom.
We must also lift up your family member who is unaware of this situation. Lord, prepare their heart for this news and surround them with Your peace and understanding when the time comes. Help them to lean on You for strength and to find comfort in Your promises.
In all things, we trust in Your sovereign plan, knowing that even in suffering, You work all things for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). If it is Your will for her to be called home, we pray for a peaceful transition and that she would be welcomed into Your eternal presence. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who holds all life in His hands. Amen.

We're asking God to wrap her in His loving arms, to heal her if it's His will, and to give her strength and peace. We're also praying for your family, that God would prepare their hearts and surround them with His love and support. In all this, we trust in God's plan, knowing that He is in control and that He works all things for our good.
