The Essence of the Gospel
Believing in Christ brings eternal life and freedom from condemnation for those who trust Him.
Walking in the Light and Washed in the Blood
Walking in God’s light brings fellowship with Him and complete cleansing from all sin through Christ’s blood.
None but Jesus — Second Part
Believers in Christ are fully and forever justified, free from all condemnation and its penalties.
We hear the urgency in your cry and we join with you before the throne of God, lifting up this meeting and the burden on your heart. We understand you are asking God that no hard questions would come and that all would go well and that the one coming from the meeting would be safe, and we bring that request to our heavenly Father with you.

We want to encourage you that God hears even our simplest and most anxious prayers and He cares deeply for you. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Even if questions do come in that meeting, we can trust that God is sovereign and He will give wisdom and peace in the moment. Isaiah 41:10 says, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also want to gently share something important with you because your request calls upon God but does not mention Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name, for Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see this meeting and the anxiety surrounding it, and You know every question that might be asked and every heart involved. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart and for Your hand to be over this meeting, that Your will would be done. We pray that You would grant favor, wisdom, and calm, and that You would bring the one coming from the meeting safely and without trouble. Help our friend to trust You even if questions do arise, knowing that You will give the right words and that You work all things for good for those who love You. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus and let them know the assurance of salvation and access to Your throne through Him alone. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the urgency in your few words and we are staying with you in prayer right now. Waiting for a meeting to end or dreading questions can leave your heart racing and your thoughts tangled, and it makes sense you would cry out to God for relief and quiet.

Anxiety touches both mind and body at once, so it is understandable if you feel tense, unsettled or overwhelmed in these moments. You do not have to carry this alone or figure out everything in the moment. God hears even the short, unfinished prayers when words are hard to find.

When the meeting is over, if you can, give yourself a brief pause in a quiet place and let one trusted person know how you are doing. If you notice this kind of dread or tension coming often or feeling hard to manage, it can help to talk with a pastor, counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, not instead of it. We are here to keep praying with you too.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus' name. Calm the racing thoughts, quiet the fear about questions and what comes from this meeting, and let Your peace rest on them. Give wisdom for next steps and surround them with Your care. Amen.

Your trembling and broken prayer has been heard before the Lord, and I would seek to lead you to that perfect peace which He alone can give.

You fear what may come from this meeting, and what questions may be asked of you. Such anxiety is natural to our weak hearts, but remember that the infinite God has thoughts of peace towards you. His thoughts toward His people are always thoughts of peace, for He is at peace with them through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. He seeks your peace, He creates your peace, He sustains your peace, and He designs your highest good even in refining trials. Believe also that His thoughts are peaceable, and that He will cause all things to work for your good.

The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of questions or trouble, but in a mind stayed upon Christ. When duties press and sorrows surge around, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. If your will is brought to delight in God's will, then the fangs of the serpent are extracted and the sorrow is sucked out of the sorrow by the lips of acquiescence.

Therefore hear the word which grows so plentifully in God's garden, Fear not. The Lord says, Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid is to dishonor God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. You have nothing to do with the outcome of this meeting, that is His business and God's. You go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God.

Let us pray together. O Lord, You know the fear that now agitates this soul. Still the restless mind and stay it upon Yourself. Keep this one in perfect peace as trust is placed in You. Take away the spirit of fear and give a calm reliance upon Your thoughts of peace. Grant wisdom for every question that may be asked, and grace to answer with truth and quietness of spirit, and let the heart rest in this, that You will help. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your anxious prayer has been heard, and I join my voice with yours before God who sees the heart and knows the distress that weighs upon you.

You ask that no questions would trouble you and that your soul would come safely through this meeting. I understand this fear and this trembling, for anxiety scourges the soul more sharply than any outward stroke, and keeps the heart in constant unrest. But our Lord teaches us to be freed from such anxious care and to fear Him above all, for He alone has power over both body and soul, and He alone can give true peace.

God does not desire that you live in perpetual fear, looking upon every question as a threat. He desires to establish you in security and liberty, to lift the burden of needless dread, so that you may stand with a clear conscience before Him. When the heart is set upon Him, even those things that cause fear lose their power to harm, for those who wish to trouble you cannot touch the soul when it is kept by Christ.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we come to You, I bring this soul before Your mercy. You know the meeting that lies ahead and the fear of being questioned. Calm this troubled heart, take away anxious thoughts, and grant peace that passes all understanding. Guard this soul and keep it in Your hand, deliver it from fear of man, and teach it to rest in fear and love of You. Give wisdom for every word that must be spoken, and where no word is needed, grant quietness. Let Your Word come near to bring compunction and comfort, to free from this bitter slavery of anxiety and to lead into Your rest. Grant that whatever is asked or answered may be done with honesty and with a conscience at peace before You. In all things let Your will be done, and let this soul find refuge in You. Amen.

Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and continue to seek Him in prayer, trusting not in the outcome of the meeting but in the faithful keeping of God who loves you and will never forsake those who call upon Him through Christ.
