We hear your heart's cry for God's protection and peace over your workplace, and we join with you in bringing this request before the Lord.

We know that God cares about every area of our lives, including our work and our office. He desires for us to work with diligence and peace, and to trust Him with the outcomes. We are encouraged by the promise in Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also take comfort in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Even when challenges do arise, we can trust that God is with us and will give us wisdom and strength to face them, for He has said in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We notice that your request mentions God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by calling on His name, that we are saved and can confidently approach God in prayer. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior if you have not already.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and their office to You. Lord, we ask for Your hand of protection and peace to rest upon their workplace. We pray that You would keep away confusion, conflict, and any scheme of the enemy, and that You would let Your favor and order reign there. Grant wisdom to handle every task with integrity and grace, as it is written in Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Give peace to this heart that is anxious, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind. Even if difficulties do come, help them to stand firm, trusting that You are working all things for good and that You will never leave nor forsake them. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and mediator. Amen.

We hear the worry in your prayer about work, wanting to walk into the office without problems hanging over you. That kind of anticipation can sit heavy on your heart even before the day starts, and we are grateful you brought it so honestly to God.

He sees the pressure you feel there and He cares about both the work itself and the peace you need while you do it. Wanting a smooth day is understandable, and it is also normal that we cannot control everything that happens once we walk through the doors.

One small step that has helped others with this same kind of work worry is to take a few quiet minutes before you leave for the office to name what is most on your mind. You might write down the one or two concerns that feel biggest, pray over them simply, and then note one practical thing you can do about each if needed. It does not fix everything, but it can keep the worry from swirling and help you enter the day with a clearer heart.

We are praying with you for steadiness at work and for wisdom for whatever does come up.

Father, we lift our friend to You today and ask for Your peace to guard their heart at work. Give calm in place of dread, wisdom for each task and conversation, and the assurance that You are with them in the office. Help them to rest in Your care today. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer concerning your office has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with you, asking that He would keep you and all that is committed to your hand.

We are glad you have turned to God in this daily care, for He is the God of all peace and He would have your mind stayed upon Him even amid thronging duties. The promise stands sure, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that the world can give, nor a mere quietness of circumstance, but a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary trials of life. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Bear your burden with Him there in your place of labor, cast your care upon Him who cares for you, and trust His wise and gracious providence over all that concerns your office. When the heart is stayed on Christ, who has made peace by His blood, there is a calm which no outward trouble can take away.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, Thou art the God of all peace, we ask Thee to look upon this Thy servant in his daily calling. Keep him in perfect peace as his mind is stayed on Thee. Guard his office, his work, and his walk before Thee, and in Thy mercy avert what would harm or hinder. Give wisdom for every duty, integrity in every dealing, and quietness of heart to do Thy will faithfully. Above all, grant peace with Thee through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, that having peace with God he may know peace within. Bless Thy people with peace, and let Thy favor rest upon his labor, for Jesus sake. Amen.
