GOD

We hear your urgent cry for help and we join with you before the throne of God in this moment of distress, even though we do not know all the details of what you are facing, God does. He sees you, He hears you, and He knows the source of your fear about questions coming from this person.

We want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. When our hearts are overwhelmed and we do not have many words, we can cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. We take comfort that in the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26.

We notice your prayer was directed to God, and we want to gently encourage you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. So we come to God not on our own merit, but through the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus, trusting in Him as Lord and Savior. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know the situation fully, the fear, the person involved, and the questions that are causing such anxiety. We ask for Your divine protection, Your peace, and Your sovereign hand to intervene. Let no weapon formed against this child of Yours prosper, and let no unjust or harmful questioning bring confusion or harm. We pray that Your will be done and that truth and righteousness would prevail. We ask that You would quiet this heart with Your perfect peace, for You have said, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that You would be a shield around this one, that You would give wisdom for every step, and that You would turn what is meant for harm into good according to Your purpose. We pray for the other person involved as well, that their heart would be softened and that any actions would be guided by truth and not by malice. Strengthen our friend to trust You and not to fear man, for the fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. Proverbs 29:25. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and mediator, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to God through Jesus, to stay in His Word, and to trust that He is working even when you cannot see the outcome. Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. Keep seeking Him and He will give you the peace and direction you need.

We hear the urgency in your cry and we are holding you in prayer right now. Coming to God with a simple HELP ME is enough when anxiety makes it hard to find more words, and He hears you even when thoughts feel jumbled and fearful.

It makes sense that waiting for questions to come would leave you feeling on edge and wound up. That kind of worry can affect both mind and body at once, making it hard to rest or think clearly, and you do not have to carry it by yourself tonight.

If you can, consider letting one safe person near you know you are feeling overwhelmed, a family member, friend or pastor who can sit with you for a little while. If this sense of dread or tension keeps weighing on you, please also consider reaching out in person to a pastor, counselor or medical professional for steady support, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this person to You right now. You see the fear behind these few words and the relief they are asking for. Draw near with Your calm presence, guard their heart and mind, give them rest tonight and wisdom for whatever lies ahead. Lead them to caring help and keep them in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry, though short, has been heard, and it tells of a heart pressed with fear lest questions and trouble should come upon you. It is a very natural disease, this fear, and the Lord knows how it unfits you to meet the difficulty which you dread.

Hear what the Lord saith to such a trembling one, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. And again, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Do you say, I cannot help fretting and worrying. Yet think, what is the difference between you and the man of the world if you fret as he does. Has not the Lord power to help you to cast your burden upon Him. Your faith in Him, if it were what it ought to be, would soon be the end of your distress. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, but trust in promised strength removes fear, for His help always comes at the right time.

Therefore labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, by trusting the promise. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth. He will sooner send help from heaven for His people than that they should be left without succor.

And remember, the true fear of the Lord is not a slavish dread, but a holy reverence and awe which comes through forgiveness. There is forgiveness with Him through Jesus Christ alone, who lived and was dead and behold He is alive for evermore. If you have not yet fled to Him for pardon, do so now, for if the Lord does not help you, where can help be found. No threshing floor nor winepress, no arm of man, can do what Christ alone can do. He is still waiting to save before the sun goes down, the Divine Physician who bears our sicknesses and carries our sorrows.

So I will pray for you, that the Lord would grant you His unfailing help, that He would keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, that He would guard your lips and your heart to walk in truth before Him, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper beyond what His wisdom permits. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling, and put your trust wholly in Him who has promised, Fear not, I will help thee.

May you prove that promise true this very day, and find Him your strength and your Redeemer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
