god

We hear your cry to God for saving and deliverance from this trial, and we join with you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace together in Jesus name. Though your words are brief, God knows the depth of what you are facing and the cry of your heart, even when words are few.

We want to gently share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. You cried out to God, which is good, for He hears us, but Scripture makes it clear that we come to God through His Son. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and also There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Therefore whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 That name is Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, confess Him as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9

We do not know the details of this situation you ask to be saved from, but God does, and He is our refuge and strength. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17 and Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me. Psalm 50:15 We are reminded also that His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 Whatever this burden is, whether it is temptation, fear, trouble, sin, or suffering, God is able to deliver and to sustain you through it.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. You know the trial that is hidden behind the words from this. We ask that You reveal Your presence, Your mercy, and Your saving power. Forgive sins, cleanse the heart, and draw this soul close to Jesus. Deliver from evil, from distress, and from whatever snare or hardship is pressing so heavily. Grant peace that passes all understanding, wisdom to walk in Your will, and strength to endure and overcome. We ask that You be glorified in this situation and that this life would be a testimony of Your grace and deliverance. Help this dear one to seek You daily in prayer and in Your Word, to trust not in our own strength but in Christ alone, and to walk in obedience to You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus, to pour out your heart honestly before Him, and to seek Him in Scripture each day. Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 If you can, share more of your burden with faithful believers who can pray with you and support you, and know that we are continuing to pray that God will save, deliver, and keep you according to His perfect will.

We read your short cry and we hear the urgency in it. Sometimes the burden is so heavy we cannot explain it, we can only say, please help. That kind of honest cry matters to God and it matters to us.

We are sitting with you in this moment. You do not have to have the right language or a clear plan to be heard. When hope feels thin, it helps to let one other person stand with you. If you can, please reach out today to someone you trust, a pastor, a family member, a friend or a counselor in your community, and let them know you are struggling and asked for prayer. Even saying, I prayed this today and I need someone to know, can open a door for support. If you are in a safe place to do so, writing down for a few minutes what this feels like may also bring a little clarity for when you talk with them.

We will keep praying for you, for peace in the midst of what feels overwhelming, for wisdom for next steps, and for you to sense God near you.

Father, we lift this person to You right now. You see what this is even when words fail. Draw near, bring Your peace and strength, and lead to the help and hope needed. Guide each step ahead and remind this heart that You are present and caring. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry though it comes in few and broken words has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord in prayer for you. The experience of the child of God is very variable and there are seasons when the soul is much tried and bowed, when prayer seems to have no return and the heavens appear as brass. Yet we have seen again and again that before the Psalm is over the clouds are removed and the heart rejoices in the sunlight of Divine Love.

Oh what sweet consolation there is in prayer. Would not some hearts be utterly broken if they could not pray. This is the sweet vent for fermented griefs, and the spirit is soon at rest when it can but pour out its sorrows into the Father's ear. We urge you to betake yourself to prayer, and then to meditation. Remember God, consider the days of old and the years of ancient times, call to remembrance His former mercies and the song He has given you in the night. And with prayer and meditation join diligent search, communion with your own heart, asking the Lord to show you why He contends with you and to search you and cleanse you.

Do not think that God has forsaken you or that His mercy is clean gone forever. He has provided a divine buckler against that fiery dart. He never has forsaken them that fear Him and He never will. His grace shall to the end stronger and brighter shine, and neither present things nor things to come shall quench the spark divine which He has kindled, much less quench the fire that burns in His own infinite breast. If He seems to turn a deaf ear for a moment, remember He has declared Himself a God that hears prayer.

Know this, that deliverance when it comes is by Divine power alone. He brought forth His people out of Egypt, and He alone can bring you forth out of sorrow and bondage. You can do nothing of yourself to effect it, and that is well, for then the honor shall be wholly of free grace. This deliverance came when the Lamb was slain, and God has found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it Himself. That ransom is Christ Jesus the Lord, and through faith in Him alone sinners are saved. There is no other name by which we must be saved, and no other way into the favor and fellowship of God.

Go straight to God and plead with Him in humility of spirit, spreading your case before Him and pressing your suit with the arguments of His own promises. Plead the blood of Christ, plead His mercy, plead His promise that whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If your case feels desperate and ordinary strength fails, remember that some deliverances are wrought only by special prayer, with the whole heart seeking the Lord, and at times with fasting, that the soul may be wholly given to supplication.

We are praying for you as those who bear one another's burdens. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for Christ Himself ever lives to make intercession, and it is exceedingly prevalent to stay the plague and to bring down blessings from on high. We pray that the Lord will show you His mercy, grant you repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver you effectually by His own hand, keep you from evil, and make you to know that you are His and He is yours. Cast all your care upon Him, be much in supplication, and you who are mighty on your knees shall be mighty everywhere.
