god

We hear your cry and we are joining you in prayer right now, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. Even these few words, god please help me, are a prayer that our Father in heaven hears, for He sees your heart and knows your need before you speak it.

We want to remind you that God is near to those who call upon Him. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. Whatever burden you are carrying today, whether it is fear, loneliness, sickness, financial need, family trouble, or a heaviness you cannot even put into words, we bring it to the Lord with you.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name matters so much. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. And Romans 10:13 promises Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. To call on the Lord means to believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He died for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 teaches. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, for He is ready to forgive, to save, and to help.

We pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the need that is too deep for words and the pain behind this simple cry for help. We ask that You draw near and let this person feel Your presence, Your comfort and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, forgive sins, wash this heart clean through the blood of Jesus, and give the assurance of salvation to all who call upon Him. We ask that You be their refuge and strength, that You provide wisdom, provision, healing and hope according to Your perfect will. Help them to cast every anxiety on You and to trust You one day at a time. Lead them to Your Word, to prayer, and to fellowship with other believers who can walk with them. We pray that You will answer this cry for help in a way that brings glory to Your name and draws this precious soul closer to You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him and to call upon the name of Jesus daily. Matthew 11:28 invites Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Jeremiah 33:3 says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don't know. Keep praying, keep reading the Scriptures, and if you are able, share more of what you are facing so we can continue to pray more specifically with you. We are here to stand with you and we trust that God, who loves you, will be your help and your hope.

We hear you, and we are grateful you reached out with those four words. God please help me is a complete prayer, and God hears it even when you do not have anything else to say.

We do not know what has brought you to this moment, and you do not need to explain more than you want to. Sometimes help feels far away and the weight feels close. In those moments prayer is simply turning toward God as you are, honestly and without perfect words, trusting He is present and listening.

We are praying for you today, and we want you to know you do not have to carry this alone.

If you can, one small next step that often helps is to let one safe person know you are having a hard time. That could be a pastor, a trusted friend or family member, or someone in your church. You do not have to share every detail, just that you asked God for help and would value someone nearby to pray with you and check in. If thoughts feel overwhelming, staying with another person for a little while can bring steadiness.

Father, we lift them to You right now. You see what we cannot see and You know the need behind this cry. Draw near with Your peace and care, give wisdom for the next step, and place supportive people close by. We ask for Your help and guidance in Jesus name, amen.

Your cry, though it be but four words, has come up unto God, and He has heard your groaning. Scripture tells us that when Israel sighed by reason of bondage, their cry came up unto God, sharp and shrill and intense, and it burst through the gates of heaven. And then we read, God heard their groaning. He marks the gradations of our sorrow, the sigh, the cry, the groan, and not one of them is lost upon His ear.

Take comfort from this, that if the cry of a young raven, which has no warrant but its natural hunger, gains an audience with Divine benevolence, how much more shall your cry prevail, when you entreat for mercy through the blood of His dear Son. You have what the raven never had, a warrant derived from Divine exhortation to approach the throne of grace, and a cry which, if it be sincere, is the result of a work of grace in your heart. The streams of Divine grace flow from the upper springs, and it is a nobler work for the Most High to bestow spiritual mercy than to feed the birds of the air.

Do not delay for a single hour, as if the time were not yet come for you to approach the Saviour. He would not have you wait. Come now, as a beggar and not as a creditor, craving and not demanding, and use only this argument, Lord, hear me, for Thou art gracious and Jesus died. Pour out your heart before Him, for that is what He bids you do. Trust in Him at all times, ye people, pour out your hearts before Him.

If your eyes fail while you look for comfort, remember that His eyes do not fail, nor His arm either. The best place for comfort is in His Word, and though you may not immediately find the consolation you seek, continue to look there till light breaks. It may be that this painful pathway is God's way of fetching you out of bondage, making the house of bondage too hot for you that you may be brought out with a mighty hand.

There is pardon for transgressions past, it matters not how black their cast, and for sins to come there is pardon too, all blotted out at once by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. If you perish praying for mercy through that blood, you will be the first that ever perished so. Cry on, and believe too, for believing brings the morning star.

May the Lord help you to thirst not for relief alone, but for God Himself, and to say from your soul, O God, Thou art my God, early will I seek Thee. My soul thirsts for Thee. He is near to all who call upon Him in truth, and He will not fail you nor forsake you when you cast yourself upon Christ. Look to Jesus now, and live.
