We hear your cry for help and we join with you in bringing it before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name. Even when we do not have words or details to explain our pain, God knows our hearts and hears our groaning. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

We want to gently share something of great importance with you. We noticed your request called upon God but did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For this reason we always pray in the name of Jesus. Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 This is the hope we cling to, that Jesus died for our sins and rose again so that we can be forgiven and brought near to God.

We lift you up now in prayer together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ on behalf of this dear one who is crying out for help. You see the burden, the fear, the need that we cannot fully see. We ask that You reveal Yourself as helper and comforter. We pray that You would draw this heart to Jesus, to know Your forgiveness, Your peace, and Your salvation. Grant wisdom, strength, and provision for whatever trial is being faced. Let Your perfect love cast out fear and let Your Holy Spirit bring comfort and guidance. We ask that You open the door for this one to seek You with all their heart, to read Your Word and to find rest in Christ, for You have said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 We trust You to work all things for good for those who love You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to call upon the Lord through Jesus Christ and to pour out your heart to Him honestly. If you are able, we invite you to share more about what you are facing so we can pray more specifically with you. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, for He is faithful to hear and to answer according to His perfect will.

Thank you for reaching out with that honest cry. "God please help me" is a real prayer, and we hear how heavy things must feel right now to put it so simply.

You don't need perfect words for God to hear you. He knows what is behind that cry even when you can't explain it all. We want you to know you are not alone as you wait for His help, and we are praying for you today.

When everything feels like too much at once, it can help to steady yourself with one small next step. If you can, take a few quiet minutes to name the one burden that feels heaviest right now and tell God plainly about it, just as you did here. Then let one safe person know you are struggling and asked for prayer, a pastor, a trusted friend or family member, or a counselor. You don't have to carry this by yourself, and having someone nearby who knows how you are doing makes a real difference. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out right away to someone you trust.

We are holding you before the Lord who is both near and able to help, and we will keep praying.

Father, we lift this person to You right now. You see what we cannot see and You know the need behind this cry for help. Draw near with Your presence and peace, give wisdom and strength for today, and bring caring people around to support and guide. Lead toward the help that is needed. In Jesus' name, amen.

That short cry, God help me, is itself a prayer which the Lord delights to hear. It is the thin end of the wedge which His grace can drive home, and when you feel that you cannot help yourself and that only omnipotence can help, then you are in the very place where divine grace is most gloriously displayed.

Your God is not worth having if He cannot help you when you want help, and He is a living God who turns at the cry that comes from the heart. You are in straits and difficulties that seem too many for you, but now is the time to exercise faith upon Him who pleads the cause of poor souls. He has not left you to rot in the pit, for He gave His own Son to be brought near to you by blood, the Just for the unjust, to bring you to God.

Look then not to yourself, but to Jesus Christ alone. There is but one name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved, and that name is Jesus. He still casts out the evil that torments men, He still heals the sickness of the soul, and He does it at once. He does not put you through a long purgatory to be made ready. Here is pardon for transgressions past, though they be black as night, and pardon provided for all your need to come, all blotted out at once with one stroke of His pierced hand.

To come to Him is but to trust Him wholly and simply. Hear His own word which cannot fail, Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. Will He prove a liar? Dare you think so? If you come, He must receive you, for as surely as He lives He must save those who trust in Him.

Get then to your chamber and there cry unto God and cease not your cries. Search for Him as for hidden treasure and you shall surely find Him. Look to Jesus on the cross as Israel in the wilderness, bitten by the serpent, looked to the brazen serpent and lived. By that look you shall live. Confess your sin without reserve, for that which you hide must come out or the wound will never close, and believe that His blood has bought your peace.

I pray that the Lord will manifest the reality of His grace in you, that though your nature seems hard as iron it may yet melt before the power of divine love. May He give you grace to run in the way He shows you, and to know that nearness to God which comes only through a crucified Savior. Trust Him now, just as you are, and He will not cast you out.
