We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, we want to remind you that true happiness and peace come from a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that God's will should come first because of His love for us.
Let's pray together:
Father, in Jesus Christ name, we come before You, lifting up this dear soul. We pray that Your will be done in his life and in his marriage. We ask for wisdom and guidance for this person his wife, that they may navigate their current situation with Your grace and truth.
We pray for peace and happiness in this marriage, but we know it's not the kind of happiness the world might offer. We need the joy that only comes from You in Jesus Christ.
We ask for Your hand of protection upon them. If there are any issues, we pray that they would come to light and be addressed in a godly manner. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion, and we ask for Your divine intervention because You are the One who is enough.
Father, if anything is happening that is against your will, Your word, or your way, we pray for conviction, repentance and a return to You.
Now, let us address a couple of things. First, we noticed that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We must also address the phrase "I just want to be happy with my wife." True happiness comes from obedience to God and His principles. In marriage, it's essential to seek God's will and His righteousness together, as a united couple under Christ.
Marriage is a lifelong commitment to love and to cherish, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in plenty and in want, in joy and in sorrow, in faithfulness to forsake all others until death do you part and only by doing this in the power of God can true happiness be achieved.
As we close, we encourage you to seek God's face together with your wife, to pray unceasingly, and to study His Word.
Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
God bless you and your wife. May you find peace, happiness, and fulfillment in Him and in His will.
