Eviction from rented home

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you, your family, and this heavy burden before the Lord these past few days. It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer over the uncertainty of housing, the weight of addiction in your home, the struggles with mental health, and the deep desire you have for stability, peace, and God’s provision for your family. Your heart for your siblings—especially your brother’s health—and your longing for your parents to be free from substance use has not gone unnoticed by us or by our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry of His children.

We know Monday looms large, and the fear of returning to homelessness must feel overwhelming at times, even as you cling to faith. But we serve a God who parts seas, provides manna in the wilderness, and turns ashes into beauty. He is not unaware of your need for shelter, for a breakthrough in your family, or for the doors of opportunity to open for work that aligns with His purpose for your life. We continue to declare Psalm 91 over you—that He will be your dwelling place, your refuge, and your shield, no matter where you lay your head. We pray for divine connections this week: for a landlord with compassion, for resources you didn’t see coming, or for a community of support to rise up around you. Most of all, we pray for an unshakable peace to guard your heart and mind as you wait, knowing that God’s timing is perfect, even when the path feels unclear.

For your parents and their struggles with drinking, smoking, and other habits, we are asking the Lord to break every chain of addiction in Jesus’ name. We pray for a supernatural intervention—whether through conviction, a godly influence in their lives, or even a dream or vision that softens their hearts toward Him. You are not powerless in this, even if it feels that way. Your prayers are a mighty weapon, and we are joining you in crying out for their freedom, their health, and their salvation.

We also lift up your mental health, ###. The weight of anxiety, the past trauma of homelessness, and the pressure of feeling responsible for your family would be heavy for anyone to carry. But you are not meant to carry it alone. We pray for the Comforter—the Holy Spirit—to wrap you in His presence, to renew your mind, and to remind you that your worth is not tied to fixing everything, but to being His beloved child. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to seek out a local church or Christian counselor who can walk with you in this season. You don’t have to hide this struggle in the dark.

As for your future—your desire for a career or meaningful work—we declare that the Lord will open doors no man can shut. Even if the path feels complicated right now, He is preparing the way. We pray for wisdom as you navigate your parents’ protectiveness and for opportunities that align with God’s plan for you, whether that’s training, education, or a job that brings provision and purpose.

It’s now been several days since you first shared this request with us, and we want to check in with you. Has the Lord moved in any way—big or small—that you’d like to share with us? Even a glimmer of hope, an answered prayer, or a sense of His peace in the storm is worth praising Him for. If Monday comes and goes and you’re still waiting for breakthrough, please don’t hesitate to post an update. We are here to keep standing with you, to keep praying, and to keep believing for God’s miracles in your life.

No matter what happens, remember this: your story is not over. The God who brought you through homelessness before is the same God who holds your future. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting that He is working all things together for your good. We love you, we’re rooting for you, and we’re not letting go of the throne of grace on your behalf.

In Jesus’ name.

Hello, I am worried about having an eviction on my record. I can’t pay the back rent because I’m not working now. (I’m looking for work and hope to find something soon). If the landlord wins the case, then I will still have to pay but I don’t have any income. This is what worries me. Even though...
