GOD i thank you for all you have done for me. GOD i have a job and i am grateful but the location and time i leave work can be very dangerous especially now that it gets dark early. GOD i pray for a new door of job opportunities open up for me In Jesus Christ Almighty Name AMEN

We hear your gratitude for the provision of your current job, and we join you in thanking God for His faithfulness in meeting your needs. It is right to acknowledge His blessings, for every good gift comes from Him (James 1:17). However, we must also lift up your concern about the dangers you face, especially as the days grow shorter. The Lord does not desire for His children to walk in fear or harm, and we take comfort in knowing that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would open a new door of opportunity for this dear one, a job that not only provides for their needs but also keeps them safe from harm. Lord, You know the plans You have for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your perfect timing and ask that You would guide their steps to a place of safety and peace.

We also pray for protection over them in their current situation. Lord, command Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let no harm befall them, and may they walk in the confidence that You are with them, even in the darkest of times. Give them wisdom to take precautions and discernment to avoid danger. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We must also address the importance of seeking God’s will in all things. While it is good to ask for a new job, we must remember that our ultimate desire should be to align our lives with His purpose. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let us not grow weary in seeking Him first, knowing that He will add all these things to us (Matthew 6:33).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of this situation. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this one will walk in boldness and faith, trusting in Your protection and provision. May they find comfort in Your Word, which says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).

We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, not just for a new job, but for God’s will to be done in your life. Sometimes the Lord uses difficult circumstances to refine us and draw us closer to Him. Let this season be one of growth and deepened trust in Him. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6).

Lord, we ask that You would provide divine connections and favor as this one seeks new opportunities. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and close those that are not aligned with Your will. May they find a job that honors You, provides for their needs, and keeps them safe. We pray for peace in the waiting and faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, and we're grateful with you for the job God has provided. The tension you're feeling is so understandable, being thankful for work while also carrying a real, daily concern about your safety as you travel home in the dark. That's not a small thing, and it's wise to bring it before the Lord and to ask Him to open a new door.

Sometimes the most practical step we can take while we wait is to quietly explore what's already around us. If your schedule has some flexibility, even a slight shift in your departure time might make a difference. It can also help to mention the concern to a trusted supervisor or a coworker you feel safe with, sometimes others have creative solutions we haven't thought of, or they may simply be willing to walk out together at the end of the day. If your route involves any stretches where you feel particularly vulnerable, staying on well-lit, busier paths and keeping your phone accessible are simple, steady habits that don't give in to fear but simply acknowledge the world we live in.

Through it all, we can hold both things: genuine gratitude for today's provision and an honest plea for what comes next. That's exactly where you are, and that's a faithful place to be.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this job and for the way You've provided. You know the roads and the quiet parking lots, and You see the concern in our heart about safety when the days grow short. We ask You to be a shield around us each evening, and we ask boldly for a new door of work to open, one that fits the gifts You've given and removes this strain. Give wisdom for the days between now and then, and steady our spirit with Your peace. In Your strong name, Amen.

Your thanksgiving in the midst of present anxiety is precious, for it shows the Spirit’s work in your heart. You are right to bring your fear to the Lord, and right to seek His will before all else. Let us not think it strange if our path lies through gathering shadows, for the heir of Heaven sometimes knows a midnight. The early darkness that makes your journey dangerous is but a picture of those providences which we cannot understand. Yet in all this, let us take heed that we sin not, nor charge God foolishly. Job, in the hour of his deepest loss, did not speak unworthily; and if God upheld him, He is able also to uphold you.

Do not be in haste to flee from a place where God has set you, unless He clearly opens the door. The darkness may be His schoolroom, and Christ’s plants grow very fast after a period of darkness which has been sanctified to them. Meanwhile, remember that your safety does not lie in a change of location, but in a wise and mighty Keeper. He is able to keep you from falling, and He will preserve you from the machinations of the adversary as you trust in Him. Say with Job, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." If you cannot see His face with delight, yet in the shadow of His wings rejoice.

Keep praying, for your request is heard. Watch and wait, and if it pleases Him to open a new door, you shall step into it with gratitude. Until then, struggle through the darkness as your Master did, knowing that light springs out of it. He who brought you out of the darkness of sin into His marvellous light will not forsake you now.

Father, we thank You for the provision of work that You have given to this one. We ask that You protect them as they travel, especially in the evening hours, for You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for new doors of opportunity to open before them—doors that lead to safety, provision, and purpose. You have set before them an open door that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Guide their steps and lead them to the right place at the right time, for those who trust in You will be directed (Proverbs 3:5-6). May Your favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and may they walk in the path You have prepared for them. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You give thanks for your job, and rightly so, for gratitude is the seedbed of every blessing. Yet you say the journey home is thick with danger now that darkness falls early. I hear the fear in your words, and it is not unreasonable to tremble when shadows gather and the way is unsafe. But consider: did the apostles flee from peril?

They were sent out as sheep among wolves, forewarned of evil speakings and worse, yet they went. Our Lord Himself said, “Let him take up his cross and follow Me,” meaning be ever prepared against dangers, against death. The darkness of the road is a small thing compared to the darkness of a soul that shrinks from every risk. Do not think that a new door must open simply because the present one feels dangerous.

The greater part of virtue is to stand firm where God has placed you, doing the work set before your hands, even when the flesh cries out for an easier place. To labor daily with safety and security is indeed natural to us; but to labor in the teeth of danger, that is the cross. And what is martyrdom if not to risk one’s life for the sake of duty? You go out to earn your bread, this too is for the work of God, if you do it in faith.

He who dares to face death for the lesser cause will much rather do so for the greater. Set your hope not on a swift change of circumstances, but on the God who sees in the darkness as in the light. Pray and lift up your hands, yes, but then walk the road with courage, not carelessly, but trusting that if peril comes, it finds you in His service. Seek a new door if you will, there is no sin in it, but do not let the seeking become an escape from the school where God now teaches you.

The strong soldier not only guards himself but also his comrades; so let your conduct be a light in that dark street. Remember that the whole work of our salvation belongs to the power of God, who uses even the thorn and the danger to humble us and keep us near Him. Endure the dangerous, and you will enjoy the good things with a deeper thanksgiving when they come.
