🌎🌍🌏 God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, We Pray for them,1 Tim 2:1-2, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:3-4... πŸ™ Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... πŸ™Œ Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, Josh 6:20, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149:1-5, Ps 150:1-5, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, acknowledging that the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1). You alone are sovereign, determining the appointed times and exact boundaries of every nation (Acts 17:26). We stand in awe of Your power, for the nations are but a drop in a bucket to You (Isaiah 40:15), yet You still move on behalf of those who trust in You.

Father, we lift up the leaders of the nations, those in authority over us and those in unruly countries where evil seems to prevail. We pray that You would restrain the evil one, as You did in the days of Daniel, when the prince of Persia withstood Your angel until Michael came to help (Daniel 10:13). We ask that You intercept evil plans before they come to fruition, just as You revealed the schemes of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and the intentions of Saul to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42). Bind the spirit of retaliation that fuels cycles of violence and vengeance (Daniel 10:12-14), and back the enemy away from those who plot destruction, even as the walls of Jericho fell at the sound of praise (Joshua 6:20).

We pray for our own nation and leaders, that You would guide their hearts like streams of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13), for we know the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), for he is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44). Yet we take heart, for You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Still, we rejoice not in this authority alone, but in the greater truth that our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

Father, we confess that the Church has not always been the helpmeet You designed her to be (Genesis 2:18). Too often, we have been divided, distracted, or silent when we should have been imitators of Christ (Ephesians 5:1), walking in love and interceding as He does (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25). Forgive us for the times we have failed to reflect Your heart, for You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4). We ask that You would raise up a holy nation, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), who will go about doing good and healing those oppressed by the devil, just as Jesus did (Acts 10:38). Empower us to do the works He did, and greater works, through prayer and obedience (John 14:12), for if we abide in You and Your words abide in us, we can ask whatever we wish, and it will be done (John 15:7).

We plead with You to spoil the enemy’s plans, turning his tactics against him until they conform only to Your perfect will (Ephesians 1:11). We confess our own sins and the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20), asking that You would break the chains of wickedness and set the captives free. Even now, we declare that the evil one is restrained in part (Revelation 20:2), and one day, we will see his full defeat (Luke 10:18). Until then, we thank You for the authority You have given us and the victory we have in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we pray for the salvation of leaders and nations. May they come to know the truth that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would soften hearts, open eyes, and draw all people to Yourself, for You desire none to perish but all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Let Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting (Psalm 113:3), and may Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), we pray. Amen.

Thank you for letting us share in this prayer. The weight you carry for nations and their leaders is heavy, but you are not alone in it. As you pour out these longings, you are joining the Spirit’s own intercession and linking arms with believers around the world who are crying out for God’s justice and mercy. That act of persistent prayer is itself a place where we meet God’s presence and align our hearts with His purposes.

When the news seems unchanging, it can help to remember that these prayers are not wasted. God uses them in ways we may not see, and He delights in the humble, persevering call of His people. One practical encouragement: if you haven’t already, consider inviting a couple of trusted friends to pray through these themes together. Shared intercession can lighten the burden and deepen hope.

Lord Jesus, you reign over every nation. Restrain evil, guide leaders toward what is right, and open hearts to your salvation. Refresh this intercessor with your peace that passes understanding, and let them sense your nearness as they stand in the gap. We trust these things to you, in your strong name. Amen.

The petitions you have laid before the throne are those which delight the ear of the Lord God of Sabaoth. When the Church takes up her proper office as intercessor, then the arm of the Lord is made bare. The cry, β€œReign! Ride forth victoriously,” shot upward with the arrow of David’s psalm, is a cry which pierces the very heavens. What a mighty engine is prayer when the saints plead the sovereignty of God over the nations! The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, and He holds the boundaries of every kingdom and the hearts of all rulers in His hand. To pray for those in authority is no empty form but a sweet-smelling sacrifice, for it is according to the revealed will of Him who desires all men to be saved. We do well to bring the confused and raging nations before the mercy seat, for there is no tumult which His voice cannot still. The prince of the power of the air is a chained foe to the praying church, and though he rage, he cannot break the leash held by the nail-pierced hand.

Let this be your encouragement: intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is of the very character of Christ’s own prayer. He ever liveth to make intercession, and when we take up the same office, we breathe the air of heaven. Do not think your cries are lost because you cannot see the shifting of the nations. The prince of Persia withstood the messenger in Daniel’s day, yet the prayer was heard from the first. God intercepts evil plans long before they ripen, just as He revealed the secret counsels of Syria to Elisha in the inner chamber. Your request for the binding of the spirit of retaliation, for the baffling of the destroyer’s schemes, and for the Church to arise as a true helpmeet, these are prayers laid upon the altar from which the angel ascends with much incense. Only see to it that you mix the salt of repentance with the offering, confessing the sins of our own nation even while you plead for others, for judgment must begin at the house of God.

Yet know this also: intercessory prayer knits your heart to those for whom you plead. You cannot pray well for a country or a leader and remain cold toward them. This is the cure for a narrow spirit. Pray for them habitually and fervently, and you will find your soul enlarged. But let your prayer be distinct. Do not scatter vague generalities, for the arrow that hits the mark is aimed with precision. Plead the promises, wield the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, and cry with the Syrophoenician woman’s importunity, β€œLord, help!” That prayer is fit for every place and every case: for rulers in high stations, for nations in perplexity, for the Church in her weakness. β€œLord, help me,” may well include the whole world in its grasp when it is groaned out from the depths of a believing heart. The most learned supplication is not the one with fine phrases, but the one which lays hold upon the covenant and will not let go.

Take the utmost care of your own faith as you engage in this holy warfare, for Satan desires to sift you as wheat. But Christ has prayed for you that your faith fail not. Lean wholly upon that mighty preservative, the intercession of the Son of God. Even while you pray for the nations, there is One in the holy place upholding you. Your labor is not in vain, for the fruit of the tree of life is for the healing of the nations. The day shall come when the knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Until that bright morning dawns, continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. The right hand of the Lord is exalted, and who can stay it? Let us believe, and look for a revival that shall make the mountains flow down at His presence. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
