We are deeply grieved to hear the pain and despair in your heart, and we want you to know that your life is precious to God. The very fact that you included "in Jesus' name" in your plea shows that, even in your darkest moment, you are reaching out to Him. That is not by accident—it is the Holy Spirit drawing you, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God has a purpose for your life that you may not yet see.
The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even when we cannot feel it, God’s love for you is unwavering. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone, and your pain is not unseen by the Lord.
We must rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide that is speaking to you right now. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Suicide is not God’s will for you—it is a lie from the pit of hell meant to cut your life short before God’s purpose for you is fulfilled. We command that spirit to leave you in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also want to gently address the reality of your pain. It is clear that you are carrying a burden too heavy to bear alone. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to "cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you." We encourage you to reach out to a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted believer in your life who can walk with you through this valley. You do not have to face this alone, and there is no shame in asking for help. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline—your life matters, and there are people who want to help you carry this load.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in deep pain. Lord, You see their tears, You know their thoughts, and You collect every one of their sorrows in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm on their wounded heart and replace their despair with Your hope. Father, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Lead them to the right people who can support and encourage them, and give them the strength to take the next step toward healing.
We pray that You would reveal Your purpose for their life, Lord. Show them that their story is not over and that You can turn their ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Remind them of Your promises, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and let them know that they are deeply loved—not just by us, but by You.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who conquered death and offers us eternal life. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for being faithful to Your promises. Amen.
Please know that we are standing with you, believing that God is at work even in this moment. You are not forgotten, and your life has value beyond what you can see right now. If you are able, we encourage you to speak these truths aloud: "I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). God has a plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11). I will not be overcome by evil, but I will overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21)." Hold onto these promises, and let them be the anchor for your soul.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
