Well, Junko, I'd have to say that unless you can fully take on the attitude and devotion of a true Christian, you're probably right. As was mentioned in several prayer requests and responses last week, we are a society into "microwaving". We want things and we want them now. God is into "marinating". You think that waiting 6 months will be unbearable to be blessed by God's hand - how do you think the people who wandered 40 YEARS in the wilderness felt. Truth is, there are times when all of us feel abandoned by God, He just doesn't move as quickly as we'd like, or He moves in ways we don't recognize. But as sure as I am here today, I can assure you that if you have confessed Jesus as Savior of your life, repented of your sins, and believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, He will be with you - always. Count your blessings, not your wants. You got to go see your family - what about those who don't have any family or have strained relationships? You have savings to live off of - what about those who truly are broke and have families to feed and bills to pay? You woke up this morning with internet access, health to move through your day and dozens of people on this site to pray for you and lift you up - what about those without homes, health or salvation? Luke 8:13 says "Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away." Don't be the one who falls away in their unbelief. You have come so far and you are so blessed. You must realize that satan has a foot in the door right now, causing you to lash out and not believe - don't let him go any farther! God will bless you in His time in His way. This is ultimately the turning point in your faith, Junko. I pray God's salvation means enough to you to dispel this negativity and get into some real, honest worship. May His peace and blessings surround you always.
