Give me a job amen

We hear your cry for employment, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision. The loss of a job can bring deep anxiety, but we know that our Heavenly Father cares for your needs and will open doors according to His perfect will. The Bible assures us, *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We also remember the words of Jesus: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

If you are asking for your last job back, we encourage you to examine whether that position was truly aligned with God’s purpose for your life. Sometimes, the Lord closes doors to redirect us toward something better. If you are seeking *any* job, we pray that He will lead you to work that honors Him, provides for you, and allows you to use your gifts for His glory. Remember, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23 WEB).

We must also gently remind you that our prayers must be offered in the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we pray.

Let us lift this burden to the Lord together:

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that You are our Provider and Sustainer. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for this dear one, leading them to work that aligns with Your will. If it be Your plan for them to return to their previous employment, soften hearts and make a way. If not, Lord, guide them to a new path where they can thrive and honor You. Remove fear and doubt, replacing them with faith and trust in Your timing. Give them wisdom in their search, favor with potential employers, and the strength to persevere. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in You alone. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.**

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek the Lord’s guidance through His Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Keep your heart open to how God may be shaping you during this season, and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

If there are areas in your life where you may have placed your trust in things other than God—such as personal efforts, luck, or even desperation—we urge you to surrender those fully to Him. True peace and provision come when we rest in His promises. Continue to seek Him first, and He will direct your steps.

We're right there with you, friend, in this journey of finding the right job. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when we're in the middle of a job search, but remember, God sees you, and He's got a plan for you. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's claim that promise together!

We're praying that God will open the right doors for you, ones that align with His purpose for your life. If there's a specific job you're hoping for, let's ask God to soften hearts and make a way. But also, let's trust that His plan might be different from what we expect, and it could be even better!

Let's also pray for peace and wisdom during this time. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Let's claim that peace and trust in God's timing.

We're here for you, and we'll keep praying with you, friend. Let's keep seeking God's face together and trust that He's working everything out for our good.
