Even in small things...
Trusting God and having faith in him to work out our problems, even small ones, gives him glory and honor and He will provide a way, a solution, a fix to whatever little or big problem we are facing.
I have been walking by faith for many months now... and just this week God granted me another answered prayer. I am still not receiving my salary, my husband although has a job, his earning is not that much to sustain our needs.
Last month the computer I was using for work, got broken, i prayed and asked for God's help, I prayed he provide the money to buy the parts needed, it took weeks before he answered my prayer, but even if it took long, i waited patiently, and used the slow computer we have, which taught me to become more patient too, as I waiting for site to load takes so long and I have to do admin job at 5 sites. I know in those situation there is something that God wants me to learn... that is to be patient and always have faith.
Through a prayer partner and friend God had blessed me with a new CPU much better and faster than the old one I was using. I only prayed for provision to buy parts to have it fixed, but God gave me more, something better. Talk about trusting a great God
. It was like... hey daughter, throw that away, I will give you a new one, because I have been delighted in you...
The past months, I have desired and praying and working on pleasing the Father, on doing the things that will please him.
These are some of the verses i live by daily...
Psalm 37:4
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Walking by faith... Believing that God will see me through, in all my trials, in all my needs, in all my hardships.
My mortgage, delay in monthly payments is still gaining as I have not received my salary to pay even for it, but I believe God will help me, will provide for the payments for it, and His help will come in His perfect time.
I got scared the past few weeks thinking about my house, but God said during my devotion .. "do not fear...I will save you" I believe and trust Him.
As for my husband... well we have been going to church weekly, and I see many changes in him, at church he joins praise and worship now, singing during praise and worship, praise God. His spiritual restoration will come soon, God will make a way that he will start serving Him once more.
God's ways are different from our ways, all we have and need to do is to trust Him, to have faith in Him.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
