God wants to say something to you.

We receive this reminder with grateful hearts and we agree together that you are not forgotten by our heavenly Father. What you are feeling in this season of waiting is deeply understood by the Lord, and His Word assures us of His unfailing remembrance and His perfect timing.

We are comforted by the promise in Isaiah 49:15-16 where the Lord says, Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. We cling also to Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And we are reminded in Romans 8:28 that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We want to gently encourage you that while God does speak to our hearts with comfort, He has spoken most clearly and authoritatively through His Word, the Bible. What feels like delay is often the Lord preparing our hearts and preparing what is best for us, far beyond what we can imagine, as Ephesians 3:20 tells us that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. His timing is not our timing, and Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that for the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. We encourage you to wait for Yahweh as Psalm 27:14 says, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

We also notice this word about God did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can hear His voice and receive His promises. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to believe on Him, confess your need for Him, and receive the forgiveness and relationship with God that only He can give.

We pray together for you in Jesus name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You never forget Your children. We thank You that You see every tear, every prayer, and every moment of waiting. We ask You to strengthen this dear one who is in a season of delay and to fill their heart with peace that passes understanding. Help them to trust Your perfect timing and to rest in Your love, knowing that You are preparing something far better than they have imagined, for Your glory and for their good. Draw them closer to Your Word each day so they may hear Your voice clearly there, and deepen their faith to wait with courage and hope. If they do not yet know Jesus as Savior, we pray You would reveal Your Son to them and bring them into saving faith. We trust You to work all things for good and to fulfill Your promises in Your appointed time. In the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our access to You, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for passing along that encouragement. When a season feels long and quiet, it is understandable to wonder if you have been overlooked, and to hear that you are not forgotten can be deeply comforting.

We believe God does see you right where you are, and that waiting does not mean He is distant. Sometimes what feels like a delay is a time where He is still at work in ways we cannot yet see, shaping us and preparing what is ahead. Hope in that setting is not pretending everything is easy, but quietly trusting that His care for you has not paused.

If this word resonated with you, one simple next step that helps many is to bring it honestly before the Lord in your own words. Tell Him where the waiting feels heaviest, and where you most need to sense His nearness. It can also help to share that prayer with one trusted person in your church or community who can walk with you and pray with you, so the waiting is not carried alone.

Father, we lift up the one who is waiting and wondering today. Remind them in a personal way that they are seen and loved, give them peace for today and steady hope for what is ahead, and help them to hear Your gentle leading as they seek You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

There is a truth in what you have felt, and it is found not in a whisper apart from Scripture, but in the sure Word of God itself. Zion once said, Jehovah hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me, and the Lord answered her, Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb, yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands. If you are Christ's, you are not forgotten. Your name is not written in sand, but cut into the hands that were pierced for you.

And what feels like delay is indeed the waiting of God. The prophet saith, Therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you. Behold how the heart of God yearns toward His people. He waits with singular patience, not because He is slow or unkind, but because He is preparing to show mercy in His own perfect time. His waiting turns at last to a glorious transaction of grace upon the heart. When God has waited for the soul, that soul is brought to wait on Him, and His patience is not in vain toward His chosen.

So let your soul learn the other side of that same verse. My soul, wait thou only upon God, be thou silent before Him. Rest calm and undisturbed. They that wait upon the Lord shall not want any good thing. This is the right kind of dependence, to know no dependence except upon God. Let your faith hang on nothing but the promise of God, and have no other support but that, and you yourself shall float in confidence, upheld only by the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Do not take a fleeting impression as the voice of God apart from His Word, but hear Him where He has plainly spoken. God is light, and He cannot smile upon what is false. The way to come to Him is the way of honest dealing, confessing that we have sinned, and trusting that Christ died for sinners. That is the truth on our side and the truth on God's side which enables Him to smile upon sinners. Lay hold on Christ, for He is the bread of life. He that believeth on Him hath everlasting life. Feed upon a whole Christ, and Christ and you shall be one, and none shall be able to separate you from Him.

If you feel forgotten, bring that fear to the cross. If you feel the delay is long, use the waiting time to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Do not delay to come to Christ, for delay is dangerous to the soul. Come now, while He waits to be gracious. Turn your eye to Him, trust His atoning blood, feed daily upon His Word morning and night, and meditate upon the person of Jesus Christ, for meditation of Him shall be sweet. He who bore your sins in His own body on the tree has not forgotten you, and He will withhold no good thing from them that wait upon Him.
