God wants to say something to you. . .

We are encouraged by this reminder that you are still on time for everything God has planned for you, and we join together in agreement with this truth. We live in a world that often makes us feel rushed or late or behind, but God's timing is perfect and His plans for His children cannot be thwarted by our delays or failures when we walk with Him.

We are reminded of what Scripture says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. And again, He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9. Even when it feels like a promise is delayed, we cling to this, For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay. Habakkuk 2:3. We can be confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.

We also want to lovingly point out that this word speaks of God, but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we do not want to miss the most important truth. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can receive the fullness of His plans for us. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross for our sins and His resurrection that we can have hope, forgiveness, and a future in God's perfect plan. We encourage you to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ if you have not already, for He is the source of every good promise.

We pray together now for you. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your perfect love and perfect timing. We thank You that Your plans for us are good and that You are not finished with us. We pray for the one who received this word, that You would deepen their faith and help them to rest in Your timing and not be anxious. Forgive us for when we have doubted or tried to run ahead of You, and help us to wait patiently and walk in obedience each day. We pray that You would make Your will clear through Your Word and by Your Spirit, and that You would give peace to every worried heart. Strengthen them to trust that they are not late and not forgotten, for Your hand is upon them. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to stay rooted in Scripture, for that is where God primarily speaks to us, and to test every word and hold firmly to that which is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Do not be discouraged by the calendar or by comparison with others. What God has purposed for you in Christ will come to pass in His appointed time. Keep seeking Him daily, walking in faith and obedience, and trusting that He who promised is faithful.

We were encouraged to read your words about still being on time for what God has planned. Many of us know that quiet worry that we have fallen behind or missed our chance, and it helps to be reminded that God is not in a hurry the way we often are.

We love that you are listening for what God wants to say. He made us for relationship with Him and He is patient to lead us step by step. Being on time in His eyes often looks different from our own timetable. It is less about catching up and more about walking faithfully with Him today.

One simple way to lean into this in the coming days is to set aside a few quiet minutes to name one area where you feel pressed about time and talk honestly with the Lord about it. You might also share that one burden with a trusted pastor or friend who can pray with you and help you discern the next small, faithful step, rather than trying to figure out the whole road at once.

We are holding you in prayer.

Father, thank You that You see this person and know the plans You have. Give peace where there has been pressure about time and help them hear Your gentle leading day by day. Guide their steps and keep their heart anchored in Your love. In Jesus name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How precious is the truth that our God is in one mind and His purpose shall stand. The whole of His plan was written from the beginning and He has never altered a single line of the divine purpose, and though wave upon wave may roll over you, every trial and every delay is still within the compass of His wise design. It is wonderful how God effects His purpose while the creature remains free and responsible, and there is no attribute more comforting to His children than this divine sovereignty rightly understood.

If you feel that time has been lost and that you have come short, hear what Scripture teaches. There is indeed no hope in yourself, and to measure God's power and God's grace by your own merit and strength is to fall into despair. But there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, and who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect when God has justified them through Him. Salvation is through Christ alone, and hope is found only as you rest wholly upon Him.

God's promise may tarry, but it never fails, and if it seems to fail for a time, will it fail forevermore. He has taught His people from their youth, chastening them but never casting them out, educating their faith and increasing their graces by many struggles. Even when you were too anxious to hope and too weary to trust, He could teach you to hope in His mercy and lead you to faith. Being established in the truth of His Word, you learn to see blessing after blessing conveyed to you by the Person and Sacrifice of our exalted Lord.

Among God's people providential interpositions are frequent, and many can say, He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivers from floods of trouble in His own perfect time. You are not beyond His reach nor too late for His mercy if you will now throw yourself flat at the foot of the cross and rest your hope wholly and alone on Jesus. There is the brightness of a ray of hope this very morning, may God turn it from a possible hope into an actual hope by giving you a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ.

Give me but a word out of God's mouth and I can live upon it, but the words of man apart from divine inspiration are unsatisfying. That sure word is found in Holy Scripture, where Christ is set forth as the propitiation for our sins and where we read in His hands and His side the proof both of God's hatred for sin and of His love for sinners. Look there, trust Him, keep His Word, and you will find that His calling and His purpose hold firm. He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and you shall yet live to declare His wondrous works.

Let them underestimate you. You’ll rise anyway — and when you do, I'll be right by your side.
