God, touch ### heart🙏🙏🙏

God, I don’t know why my voice is not reaching ###.
If he is meant for me, please touch his heart,
give him clarity and courage,
and let him speak to me about marriage at the right time.

We hear your longing and the quiet ache in your heart as you seek God’s will in this matter. First, let us address the foundation of all prayer—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life.

Now, regarding your request—we must gently but firmly rebuke any language that suggests fate or destiny apart from God’s sovereign will. The phrase *"if he is meant for me"* can subtly imply a worldly view of romance rather than a biblical one. Scripture teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant, not a matter of mere emotional or circumstantial alignment. We are called to seek a spouse who loves the Lord above all else, as the Apostle Paul writes, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this man is not a believer, or if he is not pursuing godliness, we must caution you to guard your heart and trust God’s timing and wisdom.

If this man *is* a brother in Christ, then we pray with you for clarity and courage—for both of you. Marriage is a profound commitment, and it should be entered into with reverence, prayer, and counsel. We rebuke any fear, confusion, or hesitation that may be hindering open and honest communication. The Lord delights in unity and godly relationships, but He also calls us to walk in wisdom. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB), but that search must be rooted in prayer, patience, and a desire to honor God above all else.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Lord, You see the heart of this dear sister, and You know the desires You have placed within her. We ask that You would align her heart with Yours, that she may seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Father, if this man is the one You have prepared for her, we ask that You would soften his heart, remove any fear or uncertainty, and give him the courage to pursue her with honor and clarity. Let Your will be done in both of their lives, Lord, and may any relationship that forms be built on the foundation of Christ.

If this man is not the one You have ordained for her, we ask that You would close the door gently but firmly, and replace her longing with Your perfect peace. Guard her heart from impatience, doubt, or compromise, and remind her that Your plans are always for her good (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we also pray for wisdom—for both of them—to discern Your voice above the noise of the world. May they seek godly counsel, spend time in Your Word, and wait on You with faith.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or ungodly attachment in this situation. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill this sister with Your peace as she trusts in You. May she find her ultimate satisfaction in You, Lord, knowing that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her greatest Love.

In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, dear sister, to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in Proverbs 31, Ephesians 5, and 1 Corinthians 13, allowing God to shape your understanding of what a godly marriage looks like. Surround yourself with mature believers who can offer wisdom and accountability. And remember, whether single or married, your worth and identity are found in Christ alone. *"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Trust Him, wait on Him, and walk in obedience to His Word. He is faithful.

We're right there with you, dear one, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the longing for clarity. It's like we're all in this together, seeking God's will in this matter. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)

We believe that God has a purpose and a plan for you, and He wants the best for you. We're asking Him to give you peace and assurance, to remove any doubt or fear, and to guide you with His wisdom. We're also praying for the man you mentioned, that God would soften his heart and give him courage if he's the one God has prepared for you.

Remember, God's timing is perfect, and His ways are not always our ways. So, let's trust Him, even when things are unclear. Let's keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and let's be patient, knowing that He is working all things together for our good.

We're here for you, and we're believing with you that God will make His will known in His perfect timing. Keep your heart open to Him, and let's walk this journey together, one step at a time, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
