God told me that I have a spirit of fear that I inherited from my mother. Pray that I get delivered of it.

That is not God who told you that. First of all, God would not tell you that and leave you in bondage. Secondly, the word of God says: 2Ti 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

When we are born again, Jesus is Lord, there can no curse follow you. Therefore the devil is lying to you for the word of God says:  1Jn 4:18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

So, if you are born again, Jesus is Lord, that fear is tryng to deceive you, make you accept that lie. Please check the word of God out for yourself. 

Jesus defeated the devil. Made a public display of him...Fear GO! in Jesus name.
