FINALLY BECAUSE OF YOUR PRAYER MY ### AGREED TO SEARCH ME A WIFE BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE TO SEARCH. I HAVE DEEP DESIRE FOR PAST MANY YEARS BUT NOW I AM FEELING DEPRESSED AND AFRAID TO BE SINGLE ITS KILLING ME LIKE ANYTHING. I DONT KNOW WHY HE IS DELAYING AS ITS WRITTEN IF YOUR BURING WITH PASSION GET MARRIED BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO. I AM READY TO GO WITH OTHER RELIGION AS WELL LATER BRING HER TO THIS FAITH. THATS WHAT I FEEL. I AM NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I HAVE THIS FEELING THAT YOUR SINGLE SINGLE. I AM DONE I CANT WAIT ANYMORE. ALSO I WANTED TO CHANGE THE JOB AS SOON AS SOON BUT IN ### MARKET ITS VERY DIFFICULT DONT KNOW WHICH GCC COUNTRY TO GO.

We hear the deep longing in your heart for marriage and the frustration of feeling stuck in singleness. The pain and impatience you describe are real, and we want to address them with both truth and compassion. First, we must rebuke the lie that God is delaying His goodness or that His timing is not perfect. Scripture tells us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). His delay is not neglect, it is mercy, preparation, and purpose.

Your desire for marriage is God-given, but we must sound a strong warning about the dangerous path you mentioned of considering a spouse from another religion with the intention of converting them later. This is not only unbiblical but deeply risky. The Word commands, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage is a covenant before God, and entering it with someone who does not share your faith in Jesus Christ invites spiritual conflict, division, and heartache. We must rebuke this idea firmly, not to condemn you, but to protect you from future pain. Instead, we urge you to trust God to bring a believing spouse in His perfect timing.

You also mentioned feeling paralyzed by the fear of remaining single. This fear is not from God. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy wants you to despair, but God calls you to hope. Singleness is not a curse, it is an opportunity to grow in intimacy with Christ, to serve Him wholeheartedly, and to prepare for the spouse He has for you. If you are burning with passion, as you referenced from 1 Corinthians 7:9, then we encourage you to pursue marriage, but only within God’s boundaries. Seek a spouse who loves Jesus, who shares your values, and who will walk with you in faith.

As for your job situation, we understand the pressure of finding work in a competitive market. But we must remind you that your worth is not found in your career, it is found in Christ. "Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). Trust Him to open the right doors in His timing. Pray for wisdom, seek godly counsel, and be faithful where you are now.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is longing for marriage and struggling with impatience and fear. Lord, we ask that You would calm his heart and remind him of Your faithfulness. Help him to trust in Your timing, knowing that You have a plan for his life, a plan for hope and a future. Forgive him for the temptation to compromise his faith in his search for a spouse. Strengthen his resolve to wait for a godly wife who loves You and will walk with him in covenant before You. Lord, we also ask that You guide him in his career. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, and give him peace as he waits. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may find his joy and purpose in You alone. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

We encourage you to surrender your timeline to God and to actively seek His will in every area of your life. Join a local church, get involved in ministry, and surround yourself with godly men who can encourage you and hold you accountable. God is not ignoring your desires, He is shaping you for the blessings He has prepared. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you.

We hear how heavy this feels, the longing for a wife, the years of waiting, and the dread of facing more time alone. That ache is real, and we’re sorry you’re carrying it. It’s not wrong to desire marriage; God made us for companionship, and your frustration makes sense.

As you move forward, we’d gently invite you to hold fast to something important: please don’t consider pursuing a relationship with someone outside the faith, even with the hope of bringing her to Christ later. That path rarely unfolds as we imagine, and it can lead you into deep conflicts and compromises you never intended. Trust that if God is calling you to marriage, He can provide a believing wife in His timing, even when it feels impossible. Your parents’ willingness to help is a good thing, but the search belongs first to God. Let Him guide through prayer, through your church family, and through the quiet nudges He gives.

If the weight of this is pressing so hard that you feel life is draining out of you, the hopelessness, the fear, please consider speaking with a doctor or a trusted Christian counselor. Sometimes what feels like just a spiritual trial is also a body and mind running on empty, and getting that kind of support is not a lack of faith. It’s wise.

And as you think about your job and where God might open a door, we’ll pray for clarity. It’s hard when the market feels locked, but God can unlock what no one else can.

Let’s pray:

Father, you see this man’s heart and the loneliness that weighs on him. Meet him in that ache. Give him the patience to wait for your provision, and guard him from choices born out of desperation. Calm the fear that whispers he will always be alone. Lead his parents and guide his own steps toward a godly wife, if that is your will. Bring fresh hope and steady confidence in your care, and open the right doors for his work. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a contradiction to speak of desiring God’s guidance while the heart is a furnace of fear and the will is determined to sprint into disobedience. This terror of remaining single has become the master of your soul, and it is a cruel and lying master. That fear which you feel “killing you” is a flagrant disobedience to the plain command of your King. He has not merely suggested it; He has commanded with an absolute and unqualified precept: “Fear not.” Fear of man brings a snare, but this fear of your own future is a shackle upon your mind and your faith, draining from you all strength. You are not at a loss for a wife first; you are at a loss for a quiet and trusting heart before God. For what does your fear accomplish? It distorts your judgment, making you imagine that plunging into a union with an idolater and hoping to mend it later is a path of wisdom. It is not. It is a carnal device born of desperation, not a leading of the Spirit. “Avoid everything that is evil” is a principle woven into the new heart, and the Scripture explicitly warns against being unequally yoked. You cannot seek God’s blessing by laying a foundation of sin. Do you not see that your faculties are left undisturbed by fear only when faith takes its place? This hasty resolve to force a marriage is not courage, it is the blind stumbling of a man who has stopped waiting upon his Guide. “Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance!” Yet you have gripped your desire so tightly that you are ready to bow to a false religion rather than wait upon the Almighty.

You cry that you burn, yet you forget that the cure for such burning is not a frantic, faithless search, but a holy bringing of that passion to the throne of grace. Marriage is a relationship cemented by mutual love and a choice made in the Lord. How can there be a true choice when one party is in spiritual darkness? Desiring to convert a spouse is a noble thing, but entering into the contract on that gamble is a presumptuous sin, not a mission. It is the Lord who makes marriages, not the feverish plots of a fearful mind. Is His arm shortened that He cannot bring one of His own daughters to you in His time? And what of this fear that you are done, that you cannot wait any more? It is the language of a man who believes the Lord is a liar when He says, “I will help thee.” It robs God of His glory, for it supposes the arm that sustains the stars cannot manage the small matter of your household. The forgiveness of your sins, if you are truly in Christ, ought to birth in you a holy awe and a happy confidence, not this servile dread of being alone. Your “deep desire” has become an idol, and the depression you feel is the dust and ashes of that idol’s disappointing diet.

Lay your feverish plans before the Lord, and then leave them there. Do not let haste author more mischief. The job, the country, the wife, these are all in His hand. Your present duty is to return to your first love, to repent of this bitter fear, and to trust in promised strength. When your faith is fixed on Christ, the terror of lifelong singleness will loosen its grip, for He Himself has said, “I am married unto you,” and His own presence is sufficient for every lonely hour. Obey now: fear not, and be not dismayed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burning desire for a wife is not itself evil, for the Apostle says, if you burn with passion, marry. But see here a dangerous fault: you are ready even to join yourself to one outside the faith, thinking you can later bring her to the Lord. This is not the way of holiness. The same Apostle commands that a widow is free to marry “only in the Lord.” Marriage is honorable, and it preserves the holiness that comes from faith, not by making you holy, but by forbidding the defilement of that holiness through union with unbelief. You would build a house on sand, hoping to set a firm foundation afterwards. Do not be so deceived. A wife who does not share your faith will be to you a constant peril, and she may sooner drag you down than you lift her up. For what fellowship has light with darkness? Marry only in the Lord, with chastity and honor, else you cannot see God.

The terrible fear that singleness is killing you, that you cannot wait even a little longer, is a snare. Consider: the delay of God is not cruelty but comfort, if you use it rightly. The time you hate so much is given for repentance, for drawing near to the Lord without distraction. If you were on fire with such desire, that fire might have driven you to deeper prayer and holy living; instead it is driving you to despair and a false solution. Why has God not yet granted your request? Do not be hasty. He who came from heaven to wed our poor nature waited patiently for the appointed time; will you not wait for Him to provide a suitable helper? The creation itself groans and waits; you, who have reason and faith, should be able to say, “Nevertheless, not my will but Thine be done.” If you cannot be content in singleness now, you will not be content in marriage later, for marriage itself brings many worldly cares.

As for your work, seek it with singleness of heart, as serving Christ and not men. Do not be anxious about which country will bring you gain, but commit your way to the Lord in prayer and diligent effort. Whether you stay or go, do all in the fear of God, who sees your need. Trust Him whose delay is not denial but discipline, and turn your depression into a holy longing for Him who alone satisfies the soul.

The ache you are describing is deep and real. When a longing for marriage grows so intense that it brings depression and fear, it feels like the soul is withering. Job knew something like this. In the middle of his unimaginable loss, he cried out that he would never see good again. His grief spoke louder than his hope, and he believed his life was finished. That was not true, but the pain was so heavy that he could not see beyond it. You are not wrong to want a wife; the desire itself is good. But when the waiting leads to despair, the real battle is not just about marriage but about trust.

The temptation to marry someone outside the faith because it seems like the only way out is a snare. You spoke of bringing her to the Lord later, but Scripture warns us plainly not to be unequally yoked. Missionary dating rarely ends in the conversion of the other person; more often it ends in a divided heart, a compromised walk, or years of loneliness within marriage. The very thing you hope to escape could deepen if you step outside God’s will. Job’s friends gave him all kinds of wrong counsel, urging him to act out of desperation. But their wisdom was empty, not from above. Please do not let the voice of panic move you toward a choice that would bring more sorrow than your current singleness.

The cry of Job for a daysman, a mediator who could lay his hand on both God and man, has been answered in Jesus Christ. He alone stands between your frailty and the Father’s perfect plan. He knows your longing. He made you for companionship, and He does not despise your honesty. Pour out your fear and your frustration to Him exactly as you have here. Job did that, and God never rebuked him for his raw words, only for accusing Him of injustice. God can handle your questions. But after the storm, Job saw that God had been working behind the scenes all along, even when he could not explain a single disaster.

The same God who restored Job’s fortunes in the end sees your situation. You do not know what He is shielding you from or what He is preparing. The delay may feel like a cruel silence, but His timing is not cruelty. Those who wait on the Lord are never ultimately put to shame. Rather than chasing after a geographic cure or a hasty marriage, quiet your heart and make it your daily request that He would order your steps. Your job situation is in His hands as well. He who provides for the birds can open a door for you in the right country at the right time.

Do not let the enemy convince you that you will never have another good day. That is a lie Job believed in his bitterness, but it was not his destiny. The patience of Job became legendary not because he never struggled, but because God held him fast through the darkness and brought him out into double blessing. Keep yourself in the love of God, stay faithful in the fellowship of believers, and let Christ be your confidence while you wait. He is able to guide you and your parents to a woman who fears the Lord. Your story is not over.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in prayer with you during this deeply personal season. Your longing for a godly marriage and the weight of waiting have not gone unnoticed—we have been lifting up every word you wrote, asking the Lord to guide your parents, to open doors for a wife who shares your faith, and to calm the fear and depression that have been pressing so heavily on you.

We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would lead you to the right community, the right circles, and the right moments where you might meet the woman God has prepared for you. We also ask the Lord to give you wisdom and clarity about your job search, especially as you consider opportunities in different countries. May He make your steps sure and your path clear, removing any confusion or doubt about where He is calling you next.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers in ways you can see, we would love to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the wait still feels long and the burden heavy, we want to keep standing with you. You are not alone in this. We will keep praying for peace to replace your anxiety, for trust to replace your fear, and for God’s perfect timing to become clear to you.

May He fill you with hope as you seek Him, strengthen your faith as you wait, and remind you daily that you are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
