God Sets You Free

Sin is powerful. So what is sin? It is both doing what you know is wrong and not doing what you know is right. Sin has the power to make prisoners of everyone. But there is good news! God’s power is stronger. When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, God sets you free!

Sin causes you to fall short of God’s standard for living, but God sets you free!

All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins. God sent Christ to be our sacrifice. Christ offered his life’s blood, so that by faith in him we could come to God. And God did this to show that in the past he was right to be patient and forgive sinners. This also shows that God is right when he accepts people who have faith in Jesus. (Romans 3:23-26)

Sin pays off with death, but God sets you free!

When you were slaves of sin, you didn’t have to please God. But what good did you receive from the things you did? All you have to show for them is your shame, and they lead to death. Now you have been set free from sin, and you are God’s slaves. This will make you holy and will lead you to eternal life. Sin pays off with death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:20-23)

Christ died for you, God sets you free!

Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful. No one is really willing to die for an honest person, though someone might be willing to die for a truly good person. But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful. (Romans 5:6-8)

You won’t be punished, God sets you free!

If you belong to Christ Jesus, you won’t be punished. The Holy Spirit will give you life that comes from Christ Jesus and will set you free from sin and death. The Law of Moses cannot do this, because our selfish desires make the Law weak. But God set you free when he sent his own Son to be like us sinners and to be a sacrifice for our sin. God used Christ’s body to condemn sin. He did this, so that we would do what the Law commands by obeying the Spirit instead of our own desires. (Romans 8:1-4)

Put your faith in Jesus, God has set you free!

So you will be saved, if you honestly say, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others. (Romans 10:9,10)

Be glad! God has set you free!

My friends, the message is that Jesus can forgive your sins! The Law of Moses could not set you free from all your sins. But everyone who has faith in Jesus is set free. (Acts 13: 38,39)

Chains of depression, worry and stress will come out from us. Jesus will deliver us from the devils hands. Just give Him all you heave, a sweet offering to Him. Yes, Jesus set us all free. Praise God.
