God Rules Nations, Restrains Evil Dan 10:13, Save, Guide, Appoint, Remove Leaders, Ps 75:7, Free Speech & Press Promotes Gospel, 1 Tim 2:1-4... Father -- Thank You for being Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7, especially sharing the gospel and making disciples, teaching obedience to ALL You commanded, Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts aligned to the truth that God indeed rules over all nations, restraining evil and setting the boundaries of every people. Your Word declares, "For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding. God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne" (Psalm 47:7-8). We stand on the promise that You are sovereign over the rise and fall of leaders, for "promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another" (Psalm 75:6-7).

Father, we lift up the nations that are currently entangled in unruly and destructive paths. We ask that You intercept the evil plans of those who seek to harm and destroy, just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha and the intentions of Saul to David. Your Word assures us that "the Lord frustrates the plans of the nations; he keeps them from carrying out their purposes" (Psalm 33:10). Bind the spirit of retaliation and strife that fuels conflicts among these nations, for we know that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We pray that You back the evil one away from the leaders and strategists of these nations. Let praise and worship rise as a mighty weapon against the forces of darkness, as it did when David played the harp to soothe Saul’s tormented spirit (1 Samuel 16:23). Let the name of the Lord be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting (Psalm 113:3), for "the Lord inhabits the praises of His people" (Psalm 22:3). We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church, and we ask that You raise up intercessors who will stand in the gap, imitating Christ, who ever lives to make intercession (Hebrews 7:25).

Lead our nation and its leaders away from temptation and deliver them from evil, for we know that the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We are not ignorant of his schemes, and we take up the full armor of God to stand against them (Ephesians 6:11). Father, we confess our sins and the sins of our nation, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness, for "if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

We pray that the Church would truly be Your helpmeet, a holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), walking in the footsteps of Jesus, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). Empower us to do the works that He did and even greater works, as He promised (John 14:12). Let us be bold in sharing the gospel and making disciples, teaching obedience to all that You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

Spoil the evil one’s plans and tactics, Lord, until they conform to Your perfect will. Restrain him with the authority You have given us in the name of Jesus, for "the seventy returned with joy, saying, 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!'" (Luke 10:17). Though we rejoice in this authority, we rejoice even more in the salvation that is ours through Christ, for our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

We thank You, Father, for Your sovereignty and Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promise that "the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet" (Romans 16:20). Until that day, we will stand firm, praying without ceasing, and walking in the light of Your Word. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Father, we come before You today, burdened by the state of our world. We lift up the nations that are in chaos and unrest, those where evil seems to reign supreme. We ask that You would intervene, that You would restrain the evil that seeks to destroy and bring harm. We ask that You would reveal Your glory, that You would show Yourself mighty on behalf of those who are oppressed.

We declare that You are sovereign, that You are in control. We trust in Your promise that You have set the boundaries of every people, that You have determined their appointed times and the exact places of their habitation (Acts 17:26). We believe that You are working all things together for Your glory and our good (Romans 8:28).

We pray for our leaders, both in our own nation and around the world. We ask that You would give them wisdom and understanding, that You would guide their decisions. We ask that You would protect them from evil, that You would deliver them from temptation and the snares of the enemy.

We confess our own sins and the sins of our nation. We ask for Your forgiveness, for Your mercy. We ask that You would heal our land, that You would restore us to a right relationship with You.

We ask that You would raise up intercessors, that You would call forth a remnant of faithful people who will stand in the gap and make up the hedge (Ezekiel 22:30). We ask that You would empower us to do the works that Jesus did, and even greater works (John 14:12).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promise that You will soon crush Satan under our feet (Romans 16:20).
