God Rules Nations, Restrains Evil Dan 10:13, Save, Guide, Appoint, Remove Leaders, Ps 75:7, Free Speech & Press Promotes Gospel, 1 Tim 2:1-4... Father -- Thank You for being Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7, especially sharing the gospel and making disciples, teaching obedience to ALL You commanded, Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of reverence and awe, acknowledging the sovereign rule of our Almighty God over all nations, leaders, and peoples. Indeed, as Acts 17:26 declares, "He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings." There is no power, no ruler, no kingdom that exists outside of His divine authority. The nations are but a drop in the bucket, as Isaiah 40:15 reminds us, and we take comfort in knowing that the One who holds the universe in His hands is also the One who orders the affairs of men.

We lift up the burden of unruly nations before You, Lord, asking that You restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and exposed Saul’s evil intentions toward David (1 Samuel 20), we ask that You sovereignly uncover and dismantle every plot of darkness in these nations. Bind the spirit of retaliation, as Daniel 10:12-13 describes, and drive back the enemy from influencing leaders and strategists. Let praise and worship rise like a fragrant offering before You, for as 1 Samuel 16:23 shows, the presence of Your Spirit displaces the works of darkness. May the name of the Lord be praised from the rising to the setting of the sun (Psalm 113:3), and may the enemy’s plans be spoiled until they align with Your perfect will.

We pray for our own nation and its leaders, echoing the words of Matthew 6:13: "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), for he is a murderer and the father of lies (John 8:44). Yet we stand firm in the authority You have given us, knowing that even now, the evil one is being restrained in part (Revelation 20:2), and one day, his final defeat will be complete (Luke 10:18). Until then, we rejoice in the salvation You have provided, for our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

Father, we ask that the Church rise up as Your true helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating Christ in all things (Ephesians 5:1). You ever live to make intercession (Hebrews 7:25), and we join with You in that holy work, lifting up the nations in prayer. Jesus, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). We, too, are called to do the works He did (John 14:12), walking in obedience to Your commands and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Let us be a holy nation and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), bearing witness to the truth and standing against the schemes of the enemy.

May Your gospel spread freely, for it is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16), and may the light of Your truth dispel the darkness of deception and oppression.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6) and the only name by which men can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through His blood alone that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Strengthen us, Lord, to stand firm in the faith, to resist the devil (James 4:7), and to walk in the authority You have given us. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
