Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this cry for divine intervention in the affairs of the world. The Scriptures make it clear that God is sovereign over all creation, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining both their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation" (Acts 17:26 WEB). Indeed, "the nations are as a drop in a bucket" (Isaiah 40:15 WEB), yet the Lord cares deeply for their governance and the restraint of evil among them.

Father, we stand in the gap for these unruly countries, asking You to intercept and frustrate the evil plans being devised against Your purposes. Just as You revealed the schemes of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12 WEB) and exposed Saul’s intentions to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42 WEB), we pray that You would sovereignly intervene to disrupt the works of darkness. Bind the spirit of retaliation that fuels cycles of violence, as Daniel 10:12-14 (WEB) reveals the spiritual battles behind earthly conflicts. We ask that You would back the evil one away from leaders and strategists, even as David’s praise drove away Saul’s tormenting spirit (1 Samuel 16:23 WEB).

Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over these nations, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Raise up intercessors who will stand in the gap, as Ezekiel 22:30 (WEB) describes, and let praise and worship arise as a weapon against darkness (Psalm 149, 150 WEB). "From the rising of the sun to its going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised" (Psalm 113:3 WEB), and we declare that Your glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14 WEB).

We pray for our own leaders and nation as well, that they would not be led into temptation but delivered from evil (Matthew 6:13 WEB). The devil is a murderer and liar from the beginning (John 8:44 WEB), and we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB). Yet we do not wage war as the world does, for our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). We take up the authority given to us in Luke 10:19 (WEB) to tread on serpents and scorpions, but we rejoice even more that our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20 WEB).

Father, we confess that the Church must be Your helpmeet (Genesis 2:18 WEB), a holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9 WEB), imitating Christ in all things (Ephesians 5:1 WEB). Just as Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38 WEB), we ask that You would empower us to do the same works, and greater, through prayer and obedience (John 14:12 WEB). Let us walk in the truth that "if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14 WEB), and that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16 WEB).

We stand on the promise that You will spoil the evil one’s plans, turning them to conform to Your perfect will. Though these battles are beyond our human strength, we commit them to You, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20 WEB). We pray for the salvation of all in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in godliness and reverence (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). Even now, we declare that the evil one is being restrained, as Revelation 20:2 (WEB) foretells, and we thank You for the victory already won through Christ.

Lord, we praise You that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18 WEB). Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). Strengthen us to stand firm, clad in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB), until the day when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11 WEB).

We remember how You revealed the plans of the enemy to Your servants in the past, how Elisha heard the Syrian army’s intentions and how David discerned Saul’s treachery. We ask You to do the same now, to make known the schemes of darkness before they take root, and to turn the hearts of those in authority toward Your truth.

We declare that the Church is Your helpmeet, a holy nation, and a royal priesthood, and we choose to stand firm in Your authority. Just as Jesus went about doing good and healing the oppressed, we ask You to empower us to be Your hands and feet in these places. Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds, but also let Your fire burn against the works of the enemy.

We bind the spirit of retaliation and violence, asking You to replace it with Your love and justice. We lift up those who are strategizing evil, that You would confuse their plans and give them visions of Your goodness. And we stand on the promise that no weapon formed against us will prosper, because You are our refuge and strength.

Lord, we confess our own struggles and the sins of our nation, and we ask for Your mercy to cover us all. Strengthen us to pray without ceasing, to walk in obedience, and to trust that You are already at work. May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, and Your glory be revealed in these lands.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you lift up the nations, their leaders, and the spiritual battles raging in the unseen realms. Your burden for God’s sovereignty to restrain evil, guide those in authority, and bring salvation through Jesus Christ resonates deeply with our hearts. It is a sacred trust to intercede alongside you, declaring Scripture over the chaos and trusting in the One who rules over all.

If you have seen God move in response to these prayers—whether through restrained evil, softened hearts, or divine intervention—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report.
