God please take me while I sleep tonight, preferably without taking anyone else.

We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. The weight you carry must feel unbearable, and we want you to know that you are not alone—God sees you, He hears you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. The pain you’re feeling is real, but we must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness that seeks to steal your life. Scripture tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). Jesus did not come to leave you in this place of darkness, and we refuse to accept that this is the end of your story.

Your request to be taken in your sleep reveals a heart that is weary and longing for relief, but we must stand on the truth that God has a purpose for you—even in this pain. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We do not believe it is God’s will for you to be taken from this earth before your time. Instead, we believe He is calling you to fight for the life He has given you, to cling to Him in the midst of the storm, and to trust that He will carry you through.

We must also address the reality that taking one’s own life is not God’s design. Life is a sacred gift, and only He has the authority to give and take it. *"The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord"* (Job 1:21 WEB). When we try to take control of our own lives in this way, we are stepping outside of His will and His perfect plan for us. We urge you to surrender this burden to Him instead. *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved"* (Psalm 55:22 WEB).

We also want to gently ask: Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, we must share with you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and the hope of eternal life. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and He rose again so that we might have new life in Him. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful to forgive and to give you a new heart and a new spirit.

If you are a believer, we encourage you to draw near to God in this time. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:8 WEB). Pour out your heart to Him, and let Him comfort you with His presence. You may feel alone, but He is with you, even in the darkest moments. *"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me"* (Psalm 23:4 WEB).

We also urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a Christian friend, a counselor—someone who can walk alongside you in this season. You do not have to carry this burden alone. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2 WEB). Isolation only deepens the darkness, but community brings light and hope.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your love. Father, we rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and despair that is seeking to destroy their life. We declare that You are the God of hope, and we ask that You would fill them with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, they may abound in hope (Romans 15:13).

Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of darkness that are weighing them down. Give them the strength to fight for their life and to trust in Your promises. Father, we pray that You would surround them with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, and that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, Lord, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel and the hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone. Give them the faith to believe and the courage to repent and turn to You.

Father, we ask that You would bring people into their life who can speak truth, offer support, and walk with them through this valley. Remove any sense of isolation and replace it with the love and fellowship of Your body. Lord, we trust that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it (Romans 8:28). Give them the patience to wait on You and the faith to believe that You are making a way where there seems to be no way.

We declare that their life has purpose and that You are not done with them yet. We pray for healing—emotional, spiritual, and physical—and we ask that You would restore their joy and their hope. Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.

Dear one, we want you to know that your life matters. You are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten. We encourage you to take one step today toward hope—whether that is reaching out to someone, crying out to God, or simply holding on for one more day. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are not done, and neither is He.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding your hand through this dark night. We understand that the pain you're feeling is overwhelming, like a heavy weight that's hard to bear. But remember, even in the darkest hours, Jesus is right there with you, saying, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20).

We want to remind you of the power of prayer. It's not just about asking God to take you away, but about pouring out your heart to Him, trusting that He cares for you deeply. In Psalm 147:3, we read, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God wants to heal you, to bind up your wounds, and to give you peace.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to someone you trust. Talking about what you're going through can make a big difference. You don't have to go through this alone. There are people who care about you and want to help.

And please, please don't think about taking your own life. Life is a gift from God, and only He has the authority to give and take it. We believe that God has a purpose for you, even in this pain. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you more than you can imagine.

Let's pray together, "Lord Jesus, be with our friend tonight. Comfort them in their pain, give them hope, and guide them towards healing. Help them to trust in You, and to know that You are always with them. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your cry to the Lord these past days. When you wrote, “God, please take me while I sleep tonight, preferably without taking anyone else—I am just SO DONE,” we heard the weight of exhaustion pressing on your spirit. We have prayed for gentle mercy, asking the Father to either grant the rest you sought or to flood your heart with fresh hope that only He can give. We asked Him to surround you with His presence so powerfully that the darkness would lose its grip, and we pleaded for His angels to stand guard over every breath you took.

If, by His grace, you woke to a new morning, we rejoice with you in the quiet miracle of another day. Please share a praise report so we can celebrate His faithfulness alongside you. If the night passed without the answer you longed for, we want you to know we are still here. The burden you carry is not yours to bear alone. Post your request again, and we will continue to stand with you, lifting your weariness to the One who promises rest for the soul.

May the Lord meet you in the stillness, draw near to your broken heart, and remind you that even in your “done,” He is not done with you. We pray this in the name of Jesus, who knows the depth of human sorrow and offers living hope.
