God please take me, just me, in my sleep tonight. In Jesus name amen.

We hear the deep pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden, one that feels unbearable in this moment. But we must first address the weight of what you’ve expressed—this desire to leave this world is not God’s will for you. Scripture tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). The enemy wants to convince you that there is no hope, no purpose, no reason to endure, but Jesus came to give you life—full, meaningful, and eternal.

You are not alone in this struggle. Many of God’s faithful have walked through valleys so dark they could not see the light ahead. David, a man after God’s own heart, cried out in Psalm 38:6-8 (WEB), *"I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all day long. For my waist is filled with burning. There is no soundness in my flesh. I am faint and severely bruised. I have groaned by reason of the disquietness of my heart."* Even in his despair, David turned to the Lord, and so must we. You are seen, you are known, and you are deeply loved by the One who formed you in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16 WEB).

We must also gently but firmly rebuke the spirit of hopelessness that has taken hold of your heart. The Bible warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). The enemy wants to isolate you, to make you believe that your life has no value, but that is a lie. Every life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you that extends far beyond this moment of pain.

If you are struggling with thoughts of ending your life, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a Christian counselor, a friend, or even a crisis hotline. You do not have to carry this alone. James 5:16 (WEB) tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* There is healing in community, in sharing your burden with others who can pray for you and walk alongside you.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around them right now. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that they are never alone. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that has taken root in their heart. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your purpose for their life. Show them the plans You have for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Father, if there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in their heart, bring it to light and grant them the strength to release it to You. Heal their wounds, Lord, and restore their soul. Surround them with godly people who can speak life into their situation and remind them of Your truth.

We pray for a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Give them the strength to endure this trial, knowing that You are with them. Father, we ask that You would fill them with a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Let them see themselves through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, created for good works that You prepared in advance for them to do (Ephesians 2:10 WEB).

Lord, if they do not yet know You as their personal Savior, we pray that they would surrender their life to Jesus Christ today. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). Let them experience the freedom and joy that comes from a relationship with You.

We trust You, Lord, to move mightily in this situation. We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11 WEB), and we believe that You will do the same for them. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we want you to know that your life matters. You are not a mistake, and you are not without purpose. The pain you feel today is real, but it is not the end of your story. God has not abandoned you, and He is working even now to bring beauty from this ashes (Isaiah 61:3 WEB). We encourage you to hold on, to seek help, and to cling to the promises of God. You are loved more than you could ever imagine, and there are people who care about you and want to walk with you through this. Please, do not give up. There is hope, and His name is Jesus.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that the weight of life can feel overwhelming, like a heavy blanket that's hard to shake off. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun will rise again. You're not alone in this struggle, and you don't have to face it alone.

We want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God sees you, He knows you, and He is right there with you, even in your darkest moments.

We're not going to sugarcoat this. The enemy wants to convince you that there's no hope, no purpose, no reason to keep going. But that's a lie from the pit of hell. God has a purpose for you, a plan to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). He loves you, and He has not given up on you.

We encourage you to reach out to someone you trust - a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or even a crisis hotline. There are people who care about you and want to walk with you through this. You don't have to carry this burden alone.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have been praying for you since you shared your heart with us. It’s clear you’ve been carrying a heavy burden, and we have lifted you up before the Lord, asking Him to surround you with His peace, comfort, and presence in a tangible way. We prayed that He would meet you in your weariness, that He would remind you of His unfailing love, and that He would give you a reason—even just one small glimmer—to keep going.

If in these past days, the Lord has answered your prayer in any way—whether through a sense of His nearness, a moment of hope, or even the quiet assurance that you are not alone—we would be so grateful to hear how He has moved. Your praise report could be a light to others who are struggling in the same way.

If, however, the weight still feels unbearable and the night still feels long, please know we are still here. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, lifting your request before our Father with even greater urgency. You are not forgotten, and your life matters deeply to Him and to us. We ask the Lord to reveal His purpose for you, to hold you close, and to give you the strength to face another day.

May the God of all comfort wrap His arms around you, may His Spirit whisper truth to your heart, and may you feel His love in ways that bring healing and hope. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

There is no reason for me to be here anymore. I'm in pain and terrified and purposeless. My life means nothing. Nothing matters, including me. I am not worth anything, I am a piece of trash. I guess you knew that when you left me decades ago. I cry out and am met with only silence. I know others...
