God, please take me in my sleep tonight, preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me. In Jesus's name amen.

We hear the depth of your pain and despair, and our hearts ache with you. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden, one that feels unbearable in this moment. But we must first lift up the truth of God’s Word, for it is the only foundation that can hold us when life feels like shifting sand. You are not alone, even if it feels that way. The Lord sees you, knows your suffering, and holds your tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He has not abandoned you, even when the darkness feels overwhelming.

We must rebuke the spirit of despair and the lies that whisper there is no purpose left for you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly. Your life has value, meaning, and a purpose that God has ordained from before the foundation of the world (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in your pain, He is working all things together for your good if you love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We must also gently but firmly rebuke the thought of ending your life, for it is not yours to take. Your life belongs to God, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16) and has plans for you that you cannot yet see.

We also want to address the mention of Jesus’ name in your prayer. While you did close with "In Jesus’ name," we must emphasize that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). He is the only one who can bring true peace, purpose, and healing to your broken heart.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together, lifting you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You would draw near to this one who is hurting, that they would feel Your presence like never before. Wrap Your arms of love around them, Lord, and let them know they are not alone. We rebuke the spirit of despair and every lie that tells them their life has no purpose. Your Word says that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would reveal that purpose to them, even in this dark hour.

Father, we pray for Your healing touch—whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual pain that they are enduring. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring comfort and relief. If there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin weighing on their heart, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance and freedom. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we also pray for divine intervention in their circumstances. If there are people in their life who can offer support, we ask that You would bring them alongside this one who is struggling. Open doors for them to receive help, whether through the church, godly counselors, or trusted friends. Let them know that they do not have to carry this burden alone. We ask that You would give them the strength to reach out and the courage to take the next step toward healing.

Father, we also lift up their spiritual condition. If they have never truly surrendered their life to You, we ask that You would soften their heart and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the love of Christ in a tangible way, and let them know that no matter what they have done or how far they have strayed, Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help them to see that their life has value because You created them, and You have a plan for them that is good.

We declare that this is not the end of their story, Lord. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we ask that You would begin a new work in their life today. Fill them with hope, renew their strength, and let them rise up on wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). We trust You, Father, to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning (Isaiah 61:3). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to leave you with this encouragement from God’s Word: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your pain does not have the final say. We urge you to reach out to someone—a pastor, a trusted friend, or a counselor—so that you do not have to walk through this valley alone. The Lord has placed people in your life who care about you, even if you cannot see it right now. Please hold on. There is hope, and His name is Jesus.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that life can feel overwhelmingly heavy at times, and it's okay to not be okay. We want you to know that you're not alone in your pain. Jesus sees you, and He's right there with you, even in the darkest moments.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we're lifting you up to our Father in heaven. We're asking Him to wrap His loving arms around you, to comfort you, and to give you the strength to keep going. We're praying for His healing touch, for His peace that surpasses all understanding, and for His divine intervention in your circumstances.

We also want to remind you that your life has purpose and value. God has a plan for you, and He's working all things together for your good. Even in your pain, there's a reason, and we believe that God will reveal it to you in His perfect timing.

Please, hold on. Reach out to someone you trust - a pastor, a friend, or a counselor. You don't have to go through this alone. There's hope, and His name is Jesus. We're praying for you, and we're here for you.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen
