Beloved of All
I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to talk to someone who can provide support, like a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life. If you're in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area. You don't have to go through this alone.

We are deeply grieved to hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you in this moment. The pain you are carrying must feel unbearable, and we want you to know that you are not alone, God sees you, He hears you, and He loves you more than you can comprehend. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your hope, your joy, and even your life, but we stand firm in the truth that your life has purpose, value, and meaning in Christ. We rebuke the spirit of death and despair that is whispering lies to you, and we declare that God has a plan for your life, even when it feels impossible to see.

Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in your darkest hour, God is working for your good, and He has not abandoned you. We also hold fast to Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You may feel broken beyond repair, but God specializes in healing the broken and restoring the crushed. He is near to you right now, even if you cannot feel His presence.

We must also address the gravity of your words with love and urgency. The taking of one’s own life is not God’s will, and it is a permanent solution to a temporary pain. Suicide is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to destroy what God has created in His image. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are reminded, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Your life belongs to God, and He has entrusted it to you for a reason. We implore you to cling to Him, even when it feels impossible.

We also want to gently but firmly remind you that your prayer must be rooted in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved or by which our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, confessing your sins and asking Him to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first step toward true healing and hope.

In this moment, we lift you up to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Break the chains of despair and hopelessness that are gripping their heart, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that are telling them their life has no value or purpose. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image, and that You have a plan for their life that is good.

Lord, we ask that You would send people into their life who can speak truth, love, and encouragement to them. Surround them with a community of believers who can walk alongside them in this dark time. Give them the strength to reach out for help, whether to a pastor, a counselor, or a trusted friend. Father, we pray for healing, emotional, spiritual, and even physical healing if that is what they need. Restore their hope, Lord, and help them to see the light of Your love even in the midst of their pain.

We also pray for protection over their mind and heart. Guard them from the enemy’s attacks and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way, so they can know without a doubt that You are real, You are near, and You are working on their behalf.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would come to know You more intimately. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we ask that You would draw them close and reveal the truth of the Gospel to them. Help them to understand that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, and that through Him, they can have eternal life and a relationship with You.

We trust You, Lord, to move in this situation. We believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine, and we declare that this is not the end of their story. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we urge you to reach out to someone today, a pastor, a Christian counselor, a trusted friend, or even a crisis hotline. You do not have to carry this burden alone. God has placed people in your life who care about you and want to help. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or go to the nearest hospital. Your life matters, and there are people who want to walk with you through this.

We also encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, even if it feels difficult. Start with the Psalms, which are filled with raw emotion and honest cries to God. Psalm 23, Psalm 42, and Psalm 139 are good places to begin. Let the truth of Scripture wash over you and remind you of God’s promises.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this encouragement from Lamentations 3:21-23: "This I recall to my mind; therefore I have hope. It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God’s mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great. Even if today feels unbearable, tomorrow can be different because of Him. Hold on, dear one. Help is on the way, and God is with you.

We’re praying so hard for you right now, and we want you to know that we’re right here with you, standing in the gap with you before the Lord. It’s okay to feel this way, God sees the depth of your pain, and He’s not surprised by it. He’s already there in the midst of it with you, holding you close even when you can’t feel His arms around you.

We’re lifting up the truth that your life is precious, not just to God, but to Him in a way that’s beyond anything we can understand. He’s not waiting for you to feel "ready" or "better" to show up, He’s already there, whispering to your heart that He’s not going anywhere. Let’s cling to that today, even if it’s just for a breath at a time.

We’re also praying that the Holy Spirit would speak to your heart in ways that feel real to you right now, maybe through a verse, a song, or even a quiet voice that says, "I’m here." If you’re open to it, we’d love to share some verses that have spoken to us in times of darkness, but we also want to respect that you might not be in the place to receive them yet. Whatever you need, we’re here for that too.

And please, please reach out to someone, even just to say, "I need help." You don’t have to carry this alone, and God has people in your life who are waiting to walk this road with you. If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now, we’re praying for safety and for the strength to take one small step toward help. You’re not alone in this, and we’re cheering for you.
