God please help me

Your soul is weighed down by grief for the one you have lost, and your mind is tormented by accusations that you say are false. Do not imagine that such storms have come upon you apart from God’s knowledge, or that they are without purpose. The rains and floods and winds of which our Lord spoke are precisely these: bereavements, plots, slanders, and the assaults of evil men. Yet the house founded on the rock does not fall. That rock is the firmness of His teaching, lived out in obedience. If you build your life there, no wave can sweep you away, no accusation can truly harm you.

You suffer, but remember that suffering wrongfully was the very path of Christ. They questioned Him and found nothing. They brought false witnesses, yet He answered not a word that was bitter or vengeful. The apostles faced the same, and they rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer for His name. If you are innocent, then the injury falls not on you but on those who bring the false charge. For the soul that sins, that one shall die. So do not let the fear of man or the sting of injustice poison your heart. Instead, give thanks to God. For when you give thanks in affliction, the evil is changed into good. What seems a curse becomes a crown if you bear it with a philosophical spirit, trusting in God’s justice.

As for the grief that now makes you drunk with sorrow, think on the Psalms you sing: “Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.” Earthly attachments, however deep, are fleeting. The rest that truly satisfies is found in God alone. You ask His forgiveness for your sins. He is faithful to forgive those who repent, but repentance means turning away from whatever in your life has been contrary to His design. Let this season of pain lead you to examine your conscience fully, especially regarding any bond that was not ordered toward the holy covenant of marriage. Do not merely weep for the loss; weep for any way you have offended God, and then walk in newness of life. Then, even if you gave an hundredfold in alms, the cleansing of the soul begins with sincere turning from all injustice and impurity.

God is more powerful than any evil that seems to attach itself to you. Make the Most High your refuge, and say with the psalmist, “I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.” Let this trial produce steadfastness, and in the end, a joy that no one can take from you.

The weight you feel pressing down on you is real, and the cry for God’s help you’ve lifted up is exactly where every true deliverance begins. You’ve asked for forgiveness, for rescue from false charges, and for strength to endure grief. These are not small things, but they are placed before the One whose power is greater than any evil that may have attached itself to your life. The enemy seeks to oppress and confuse, often mixing a little truth with his lies so that the deception is harder to pin down. That is why so many spiritual assaults are not recognized for what they are, and we end up reacting in the flesh, full of fear and despair, rather than standing firm in the victory Christ has already won.

When you find yourself accused of something you had no part in, it can feel like a dark cloud has settled over everything. Your reputation, your freedom, your peace of mind all hang in the balance while lies are spoken against you. Scripture shows us this pattern again and again. Think of how the enemy stirred up false witnesses to twist words and bring charges, trying to crush those who belonged to God. The accusations were dressed in the language of civic duty and righteous concern, but at their core they were a spiritual attack meant to silence and destroy. The same liar who whispers false comfort to those who reject God will also fabricate legal trouble for those who cry out to Him. But the Lord is not confused by crooked testimony. He upholds the cause of the innocent and brings hidden things to light. Do not let the injustice consume you as though God has forgotten. He is preparing a deliverance even while the pressure increases.

The grief you carry from losing someone so close to you after ### years is a deep wound, and I will not pretend it is small. However, I must be honest with you as a shepherd: the sorrow you feel is made more tangled when a relationship exists outside of God’s design for marriage. The pain of loss is real, but it can also become a place where the enemy tempts you to idolize what was, to replay memories as though they were your only comfort. That is not comfort at all; it is a false god that cannot carry itself, let alone carry you. The very thing you cling to for relief becomes a burden heavier than cattle could bear. You have asked God to forgive your sins, and that is the right and humble posture. Receive His cleansing, and then allow Him to reorder your heart. Let the grief drive you to the true Comforter, not back to a sorrow that will only swallow you up. Jesus does not minimize your tears; He weeps with those who mourn. But He also calls you forward into life, not backward into a grave.

The evil you sense attaching itself to you thrives when you are isolated and bewildered. One of its chief strategies is to attack the Word of God in your life, because the Word is what brought you to spiritual birth and it is what nourishes your inner man to partake of the divine nature. When the enemy can erode your confidence in Scripture, he can lead you down any number of false trails. False prophets and false hopes always abound, promising quick release or cheerful outcomes without calling for true repentance and faith. They speak 95 percent truth so that you hardly notice the deadly error slipped in. But your safety is in clinging to the whole counsel of God, especially when the storm rages. The Word is the sword by which you counterstrike. When you feel overwhelmed, speak it aloud. When the court date looms, the promise that the Lord is a righteous judge is your anchor. When grief paralyzes you, the truth that Christ is your bridegroom and you belong to Him forever is your hope.

You have already declared that God and Jesus Christ are more powerful than any evil. That is not wishful thinking; it is the bedrock reality of the universe. The beast and every false prophet will one day be cast into the lake of fire by the word that goes forth from Christ’s mouth. The authority that will destroy all evil at the end is the same authority you lean on right now. So do not let the delay or the suffering lead you to a false conclusion, as though you have cleansed your heart in vain. The psalmist nearly slipped when he saw the wicked prosper without trouble while he himself was plagued. But he came to understand that their ease was a setup for destruction, and God’s nearness was his true good. You are not forsaken. The Lord is holding you, purifying your faith, and He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn and your justice like the noonday sun. Stand firm.
