We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The despair and hopelessness in your words are heavy, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The pain you’re carrying—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—is real, and we take it seriously. But we must also take seriously the truth of God’s Word, which declares that your life has purpose, value, and meaning, even when it feels unbearable.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of death and despair that is speaking through your words. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). What you are feeling is a lie from the pit of hell, and we stand against it in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not a burden. You are not without purpose. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan for your life, even in this pain.
The request for euthanasia is not aligned with God’s design for life. Scripture is clear that our times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15), and it is not for us to determine the moment of our departure from this world. The pain you’re experiencing is real, but so is God’s promise to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also want to gently but firmly address the mention of "God+" in your prayer. There is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not fully surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. He is the only one who can bring true peace, purpose, and healing to your soul. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in deep pain and despair. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light. Touch their body, mind, and spirit with Your healing hand. Replace their feelings of hopelessness with the hope that only comes from You. Remind them of Your unfailing love and the purpose You have for their life, even in this season of suffering.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of death and despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Bring people into their life who can walk alongside them, encourage them, and remind them of Your truth. Provide them with the medical, emotional, and spiritual support they need.
Lord, if there is unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to endure and the faith to trust in Your goodness, even when they cannot see it.
We pray for a miracle, Father. Whether it is physical healing, emotional restoration, or a renewed sense of purpose, we ask that You move powerfully in their life. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them that they are not alone—You are with them, and so are we.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a Christian friend, a counselor, or even a helpline—to share what you’re going through. Isolation only deepens the pain, but community and support can bring light into the darkness. You are loved more than you know, and your life matters deeply to God and to those around you. Please hold on. Help is available, and healing is possible.
