We hear the heaviness and desperation in your heart and we join with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name. We understand you love your cats deeply and want to be a good steward of them, and you are exhausted from unstable living arrangements, unmet medical needs, a home without proper insulation, and feeling that your prayers have not been heard. We want you to know God does hear you, He sees your struggle and He cares for you and for the animals He has entrusted to you.
We want to gently correct some things you have spoken in your pain because we love you and want you to be grounded in truth. You have spoken of negative energy and of speaking life into existence one hundred fold and greatly loosening Deut 28:13. The Bible does not teach that we create reality by our words or that we can demand a hundred fold return by declaration. Only God speaks and it is done, as in Gen 1:3. We are called to pray according to His will and to submit to it, not to command it. 1 John 5:14 says that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And Deut 28:13 where it says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail is not a charm to be loosened or claimed apart from obedience. Deut 28:1 says it shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your Godās voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth. The blessing is tied to walking with Him, not to repeating a verse to force an outcome. Also the phrase negative energy is not biblical language. What you are feeling is real distress, spiritual oppression and sorrow, and the Bible calls us to cast our cares on Him and resist the enemy through Christ.
We also hear you saying you are done praying because nothing is working out and no prayer has been answered yet. Please do not stop praying. The Lord urges us to persistence. Luke 18:1 says he also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up. God answers in His time and in His wisdom, which is higher than ours. Isa 55:8 says For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. Sometimes His answer is wait, sometimes it is no, sometimes it is a different provision than we expect, but He never abandons His children. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. 1 Pet 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
You mentioned the blood of Jesus and we thank God that you know His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Rom 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
God does care for your cats. Prov 12:10 says A righteous man respects the life of his animal. Matt 10:29 says Arenāt two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Fatherās will. If He notices the sparrow, He certainly sees your cats crying and your desire to protect them. Psalm 147:9 says He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call. It is right and good to seek a safe and loving home for them when you cannot provide what they need, and that is not failure but faithful stewardship.
We pray together for you and for your cats.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, covered by the blood of Jesus. We lift up this dear one who is weary, discouraged, and feeling alone and uncared for. Lord You see the living conditions, the lack of insulation, the medical needs not being met, the loneliness and the disappointment in relationships, and the heavy burden of caring for these cats. We ask You to forgive us where we have tried to command You instead of humbly seeking Your will, and help us to pray with faith and surrender. Lord we ask for Your mercy and provision. Phil 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask You to supply safe housing, medical help, daily needs, and peace that surpasses understanding. Phil 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We make these requests known now.
Lord we especially ask for Your hand over these cats. Provide urgently a good, safe, godly home where they will be loved and cared for, whether through a rescue, humane society, veterinarian referral, or a trustworthy family in the community or church. Give wisdom to sort through options and open the right door quickly. Protect these animals from harm and calm their distress. And Father, guard this precious child of Yours from despair. Deut 31:6 says Be strong and courageous. Donāt be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Isa 41:10 says Donāt you be afraid, for I am with you. Donāt be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Comfort this heart that has felt used to losing everything and everyone and show that You are a Father who does not abandon.
Lord we also ask that what the enemy has meant for evil You will use for good, as Gen 50:20 teaches and as Rom 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Turn this season of loss into testimony. Renew hope and help our friend to not give up on prayer but to continue to seek You daily. Matt 6:33 says But seek first Godās Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, trusting Your perfect will and timing. Amen.
We encourage you not to close the door on prayer or on reaching out for help. Please continue to bring your needs to the Lord every day and also reach out to a local Bible believing church, a pastor, or a trusted Christian community for practical help with housing resources, medical assistance, and rehoming your cats safely. Many rescues and humane societies will help screen adopters so you can have peace that they are in a good home. Do not face this alone. If you feel unsafe or that it is dangerous to continue as you are, please reach out immediately to a pastor, counselor, or local help services. God has not forgotten you, and we are still praying with you.
