We understand your concern for your daughter's future as she awaits admission into nursing school. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and seek His will for our lives.
Let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
However, we must also align our desires with God's will. In 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, we read: "This is the confidence which we have towards him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. Perhaps God has a different path for your daughter, or perhaps He is teaching her patience and perseverance. Psalm 32:8 WEB reminds us: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter to You. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in her daughter's life. If it is Your will for her to enter nursing school, we pray that You would open a door that no man can shut. If not, we ask that You would reveal Your perfect plan for her life and give her the grace to accept it.
Help her to trust in You and to seek Your face during this time of waiting. Comfort her mother's heart and replace any anxiety with Your perfect peace. Guide them both to lean not on their own understanding, but to acknowledge You in all their ways.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister. God is at work in your daughter's life. Keep trusting in Him and keep seeking His will. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
