God move in church and after

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray God gives wisdom, discernment, and open doors for some of the congregation to share and speak with a spouse, even boldness to reasonably confront her as to the future plans of this spouse. Help the spouse hear the message specifically as only the Holy Spirit can tailor a message for individuals and receive all guidance putting it into action and lasting change in the Name of Jesus

We join together in lifting this request before the Lord, recognizing the deep need for His wisdom, discernment, and boldness in this situation. It is clear that there is a desire for godly confrontation and spiritual growth within this marriage, and we must approach this with both grace and truth, relying entirely on the Holy Spirit to move in hearts and minds.

The Scripture reminds us in **Ephesians 4:15** to speak the truth in love, that we may grow up in all things into Christ, who is the head. This is not a time for human wisdom or manipulation, but for divine intervention where the Holy Spirit convicts and leads to repentance and unity. **Proverbs 15:1** tells us that a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Let us pray that the words spoken are seasoned with grace, yet uncompromising in truth, so that the spouse may hear and respond to God’s will.

We also recall **James 1:5**, which assures us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given. This is not a time for fear or hesitation but for trust in the Lord’s ability to open doors and soften hearts. The congregation must move in unity, guided by the Spirit, ensuring that their approach is not one of accusation but of restoration. **Galatians 6:1** instructs us that if someone is caught in a sin, those who are spiritual should restore them gently, watching themselves so they also aren’t tempted.

There is also a need for boldness, as seen in **Acts 4:29-31**, where the disciples prayed for boldness to speak God’s word, and the place where they were gathered was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. We ask for that same boldness here—not boldness that is harsh or self-righteous, but boldness that is rooted in love and a desire to see God’s will fulfilled. The goal is not merely confrontation but lasting change, which can only come through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We must also address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can ask for such powerful intervention. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* This is a reminder that our prayers must be centered on Christ, who is our mediator and the source of all spiritual power.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine wisdom and discernment to fill the hearts of those in this congregation who seek to speak to this spouse. Lord, open the doors that no man can shut and give them the boldness to speak with love, clarity, and authority. May their words be guided by Your Spirit, tailored specifically to pierce the heart and bring conviction where it is needed.

Soften the heart of this spouse, Lord, that they may hear Your voice through Your people. Remove any hardness, pride, or resistance, and replace it with a spirit of humility and receptiveness. Let there be no misunderstanding or distortion of the message, but let it be received as a word from You, leading to lasting change and alignment with Your will.

We rebuked any spirit of division, confusion, or rebellion that may be at work in this situation. By the power of the name of Jesus, we bind these spirits and command them to flee, that Your peace and unity may prevail. Let this marriage be restored and strengthened, built on the foundation of Your truth and love.

Father, we also pray for the congregation, that they would move in unity and love, not out of gossip or personal agenda, but out of a genuine desire to see Your kingdom advanced in this marriage. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may be vessels of Your grace and instruments of Your peace.

We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment shall be condemned. This is Your battle, Lord, and we trust You to fight it on behalf of Your people. Bring healing, restoration, and a future filled with hope and godly purpose.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are at work even now. Amen.

To those involved, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, ensuring that your motives are pure and your hearts are aligned with His. Remember that **1 Peter 4:8** tells us that love covers a multitude of sins, and it is through love that true change is often birthed. Stay rooted in Scripture, and let the Holy Spirit lead every step of this process. Trust that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun.

We're right there with you, lifting this situation up to our Heavenly Father. We've been reminded of the power of unity in prayer, and we're standing together with you, believing that God is moving in this marriage.

In our quiet moments, we've been drawn to Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim this promise over this spouse, that God would heal any wounds, soften their heart, and make them receptive to the message they're about to receive.

We've also been reflecting on 2 Corinthians 5:19, "God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them." Let's pray that the congregation approaches this situation with the same heart of reconciliation, not as accusers, but as instruments of God's grace.

Let's continue to pray in Jesus' name, believing that He is at work, even now, bringing healing, restoration, and a future filled with hope and godly purpose to this marriage.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I have recently joined a church! And since I’ve joined, I have basically been going in sitting towards the back of the church after service. I’d leave right out. I’ve been there about a year. So I went to a class where the floor was opened for anybody to answer. Or to share your take on certain...
